I very much hope for the same as you...however, being a Sunderland fan, I will never have the safety/luxury of being smug...as it will undoubtedly bite me on the ass.
I had a warm glow from the weekend, but it's Arsenal next week.....so.........no chickens being counted

I don't mind him too much, actually. Though I think he does tend to "over-egg the pudding". Look on him as a bit of lightweight entertainment, he's not a leading philosopher.

He does keep banging on about Aguero being the best player in the prem. Even when everyone was bending over backwards to fellate Hazard, he still stuck to his guns and said Aguero is the best.
He's still fucking wrong though. Silva is the best.

I think Allardyce will keep you up mate - if I'm not mistaken, he's never been relegated and the barcodes would've been well advised not to turn on him as quick as they did otherwise they might not have had such a shit time of it over recent years.

I hope they stay up for purely selfish reasons ... we have Geordie mates, and I love our games up there for the nights out after them .... especially if I get an afternoon in the Tyne Bar on a Sunday ... some great live music ...

But besides that, can relate to their current plight too.

Fully agree with that, Toure has been our most important signing. Often popped up when needed, perhaps stayed for a season or two too long but who knows, it depends if we can manager his game time.

Agree with you there Walter but Aguero has time on his side so who knows what could still happen, the player of the season argument was a bit poor from you though mate!

I know mate just thought you could have mentioned he was playing Sunday league a couple of years back and he broke the consecutive games scoring record.
