It's all money, money, money with some people but this could be the start of some really tasty food at the ground
Not really possible to value the individual clubs but I think we can safely assume that City represent a large part of that £2bn. I don't know what ADUG would do but other investors are certainly a possibility and, as you say, we could sell another 12% without ADUG ceding overall control. India is another market where there is huge development potential for example.
I remember the days when Sky had a stake of 10% that they'd forgotten about and would have taken less than £2m for. That valued us at around £20m whereas today it's £2bn.
Ha Ha , I will wind a few up with that .I was sat having breakfast with a rag (small r as I dont think he knows where Manchester is) and a Chelski fan when the news came on the radio.... If I could have framed the look on there faces, you would have thought we had beaten them 6-0 at there home grounds. Many years ago when we first got the money I heard a rhyme which I still use to wind them up. "every time you fill up your car, you help City buy a star".... well I couldn't resist it.... "Every time you have fried rice, you help City get someone nice".
It's dead easy to glance over at Redcafe and still be abreast of everything else that's happening. We get it Dave, you're too mature to worry about Utd, Journalists and any other petty nonsense. This still being football though, there are many others who will be enjoying using this as a conversation piece with their mates who happen to be rags/Scousers etc.Haven't we as a fanbase moved beyond keeping this discussion at "The rags don't like it tee hee hee" level? Fucking hell. Anyone who is looking at Man United forums or whatever right now has their priorities badly wrong.

That's what happens with rivalries you see. We get good news, we use it to point score. They do the same and the football world turns and turns.
The majority of football fans think like this as I'm sure you know. You just be grateful that you're above it all.

I agree to a certain extent mate, but when stuff happens on the magnitude of today's news it's always nice to see how our neighbours are reacting.Point taken but some of our fans are still obsessed with Man United i'm afraid mate. That's also the reason they are also obsessed with how we are reported.
It bugs me because we should be leaving that behind because they are in our shadow now, not the other way around.
