Media bias against City

The Mail are at it again today. Apparently City are 'joint top'. Strange that when City really were joint top with Chelsea, with identical records, last New Year's Day and Chelsea were only 'top' on alphabetical order, they said Chelsea were top and City were second.

I think Mr Van Ghoul is doing a lot for us. I've heard our attacking style praised this weekend by - of all people - Stan Collymore and Alan Shearer. Both in contrast to the rubbish served up by the RAGs.

When Sky were talking about Jamie Vardy yesterday they stuck a table up of the most goals in consecutive matches in top flight English football. Jimmy Dunne was top on 12, Vardy and Stan Mortensen joint second on 11, and Ruud van Horseface was next on 10. So why the fuck wasn't our very own Billy McAdams listed as joint level with the horse faced twat?!!!!!

Just noticed on BBC matchday feed that they have a pic of some empty seats and a sarcy comment. Wonder if they'll do the same at Stoke or Middlesbrough. Fuckin doubt it. Wankers.

OK, I know I'm sad......so don't bother with any of that.

I read the BBC Gossip Column every day. All they do is pick the best/most relevant bits from the media, and we all know the BBC have no Rag bias (you never see them using tax payers money on silly documentaries about that shower). So, from 1 November onwards I've been keeping a log on how many stories they report on for Arsenal, Liverpool,Chelsea, Rags and us. Here are the scores as at today:

Rags - 111
Chelsea - 102
Liverpool - 66
Arsenal - 65
City - 42

.....no media bias my fucking arse.

Looking forward to the bile in the papers tomorrow over the Chinese deal.

So far after tonight's walk in the park 4-1 win the following have been slated by our own fans. The manager, Bony, Clichy, Mangala and Sterling.

Is it any wonder that the media give us a rough ride? Our own fans can't wait to bash the club or players they supposedly support.

Some of it is that City transfer targets don't generate stories because they're done quietly (quite often anyway).
Much of it is that Utd/Chelsea are massively unbalanced on the field and it's easy to create a page on how player X or Y is wanted, without any evidence.
And some of it is grovelling bastards reporting dumb non-stories.

The transfer part of the gossip column is obviously going to be loaded towards the needy.

Those loveable scamps at eh BBC have an audio clip from 5 live, apparently 48 seconds of Trevor Sinclair. What's it listed as? "Mangala not good enough to lace Kompany's boots"

Stands to reason that that is the only excerpt that they could find, I bet he never said anything praiseworthy about anyone else.

The Chelsea figure is only so high because of Maureen's antics. For champions to capitulate so dramatically amongst so much disarray is truly newsworthy. Otherwise I suspect the Chav's figure would be similar to the Arse's. Leaving the Rags as far and away the most covered team. If the BBC was a commercial operation then pandering to the unwashed masses would be understandable, but as it is state supported these figures are damming.

You got a link to that mate? I'm seeing it listed as "Can Mangala fill Kompany's boots at City?".

Look on the Football front page - top centre for me.

I see what you mean though - the actual link says something different. I hadn't noticed that - how curious.

No mention of our Chinese Gamechanger on the BBC evening news last night and the same this morning but they are still featuring a Chelsea planning application for a stadium rebuild which won't be finished for years.
