Let's look at the facts , we won the title with Mancini with a solid back four that was protected very well by Barry and De Jong.

The two that play that role are not as good, as much as I like Dino I think Fernando is poor and so we have downgraded. The manager picks the defensive cover so he's failing. Our sheild is so weak that the back 4 look vulnerable every time we are attacked. De Jong and Barry snuffed out danger and dealt with it, making our defence look fantastic.

We won the trophies with a rampaging Yaya, he isn't the same player and the manager is paid to ensure we have a replacement or alternative plan - another fail.

We have gone from Tevez who was amazing, ran his socks off and bagged important and loads of goals to Dzeko who also scored bags of important goals to Bony, Jesus H Christ, that's like downgrading from Beyoncé to Hilda Fucking Ogden.

As others have said, it's like he hasn't even studied the opposition sometimes, baffling substitutions and crazy ones like bringing Delph on at Villa to whip up the home crowd into a frenzy.

Yes he won the double , Liverpool handed us the league and if it was not for an incredible Yaya goal in the League Cup final we never looked like scoring that day.

With the money at his disposal I don't think we have progressed as a team unit.

We must stick with the nice man until May but then goodbye Audrey.

In fairness mate, you can't really compare the quality of the squads. Lesley had RSC, Jo and Ben Haim at the time.

True.

Damning indictment on Pellegrini, no doubt.

Hughes also had us in the relegation zone at this time of year in his first season.

This is the same guy that outdid us today with an inferior hardworking side.

Same old shit.

No top flight Manager will come to City for 6 months if the Pep stories are true?

The club will stick by Pellegrini until the end of the season, regardless.

If the title is lost over the coming months, they will expect a minimum of a Champions League place, and perhaps one or both domestic trophies from Pellers.

With the players back, Pellers may get a reprieve from this poor run of results, with performances and results picking up. But with Arsenal and Leceister away coming up, he/we need all our top players back, otherwise the current gap will only grow, with other teams below us also catching us up.

Even fucking Moyes would do a better job! We need someone who can make us tighter. If you remember when Hughes was here we were alright going forward but were shipping goals at the back. Mancini came in and improved the defence 100% and we prospered. We have not got the firepower to go gung ho and outscore teams, all that is happening is we are wide open and easy to score against. Tighten up and hope one of the flair players wins it at the other end!

yes we do, aguero, de bruyne, sterling, silva there isn't much better than that. when they play and play well we will outscore anyone

It's the manner of the defeats that hurt, the complete lack of fight and passion and that stems from Pellegrini refusal to pick the team based on merit. He favours certain big names and it ruins the competitive spirit of the squad players knowing that as soon as the big names are back they'll be straight back in no matter how little effort they show. I understand you can't pick the same players every week because of injuries, suspensions and fatigue but we all know as soon as Yaya is fit he'll be straight back in instead of Delph and Inhenacho must be tearing his fucking hair out seeing that fat, lazy, useless prick up front picked in front of him every time Aguero is missing.

We need to go back to basics when things aren't going our way and that means tightening up at the back, working hard and recovering possession as quickly as possible. Luck and opportunities will present themselves when you work hard enough to earn them, we don't. We roll over and die.

I think today showed that Toure should come back in when fit (though not in place of Delph). We lack cohesion and the ability to retain possession without him.

he is a dead man walking - he will get through to the end of the season cause i don't believe we will sack him mid season with no-one to take over........

I think he has lost the dressing room as well - ferns and silva looked well and truly pissed off.....and god knows what clichy and Kelechi must think with Bony and Kolorov constantly getsing in the starting 11 ahead of them.......and as for delph he must wonder why he bothered if fernando gets in ahead of him

he got lucky inheriting the team he had yet still nearly gave the title to liverpool ......the weaknesses in his set up have been blindingly obvious since day one and now all teams are picking up on them not just the good ones.

nice guy he maybe but he is an average manager

Fucking shit old ****. Something needs to change bloody soon before we fall out of the top permanently this season.

And how will that convince me that we have strength in depth?

It's a different slant on your "we don't have a great squad". Barca don't and are European and La Liga Champs. Chelsea used about 15 players on a regular basis last season.
