FA Cup draw - Norwich (a)

If Carlsberg did FA Cup draws......... it wouldn't be this one. ;)

I want a real 'romance of the cup' draw one year, like Eastleigh or Bury (a few minutes away from me!), but we always get hit with mundane ties.

Have we ever drawn a non-league team ever?

Every other top team seems to have done at some time or another... but not us

Mind you... probably for the best lol

I seem to remember us playing one in the 70s I think. Possibly Blyth Spartans?

When was the last time we drew a team from outside the top 2 divisions in the FA Cup? I really can't remember.
I keep saying this.

2015/16

Capital One - Sunderland, Palace, Hull
FA Cup - Norwich

2014/15

Capital One - Sheffield Wednesday, Newcastle
FA Cup - Sheffield Wednesday, Middlesborough

2013/14

Capital One - Wigan, Newcastle, Leicester, West Ham, Sunderland
FA Cup - Blackburn, Chelsea, Wigan

2012/13

Capital One - Aston Villa
FA Cup - Watford, Stoke, Leeds, Barnsley, Chelsea, Wigan

2011/12

Capital One - Birmingham, Wolves, Arsenal, Liverpool
FA Cup - United

2010/11

Capital One - West Brom
FA Cup - Leicester, Notts County, Villa, Reading, Stoke

The last time we played a side outside of the Premier League or Championship was in 2011...

Usually a north easterly wind in January.
Average speeds around 25 mph according to the met office.

Really boring draw for City .
Norwich City won't be easy .
Will we be having another holiday before an F.A cup tie .
Like we did last year against Middlesbrough .

I'd prefer the mundane.

Knowing us, we're absolutely 100% guaranteed nailed on to get beat by a last minute set piece header against a non-league team

Bit of a boring draw that but at least its not at home and we get stung on the cup scheme
wouldnt mind shelling out for a home time versus a team we rarely play or with a good away following
