Liverpool & Stoke went strikerless. Answer is extremely poorly.

Real question is have we learnt how to adapt & planned for this, or are we just going to keep throwing Plan A at the problem & hoping it works this time.

I will be very disappointed if we don't see a strong 3 man midfield. Toure plus 1 will be just asking for the usual trouble, although I guess Swansea may be so poor we'd win despite it.

Lol. MDM will not feature in our midfield from kick off. If he's the middle of the park it's a stop gap whilst we see out the clock. To be quite honest, after his recent showings I highly doubt he'll feature at all unless push really comes to shove and we have nobody else. He'll be gone soon. Pal.

Thanks boss.

You cannot take any side for granted.

Look at Villa no wins since the opening game and we couldn't get three points.

We blow hot and cold like the wind best summed against BM , shocking first half , better second half.

About time we gave a clinical display for 95 minutes as we always leave the door open it seems even when we have a grip on the game.

Wasn't so long ago we were beating sides like Liverpool at home and not giving them a sniff.

5-0 City. Brilliant player though deBruyne is and a future legend, I'm not sure the balance of the team with him in it is quite right just yet. Doubtless we'll find out shortly. Pitch absolutely impeccable given the rain we've had.

Resting DeBruyne is an intelligent move & has to happen from time to time.

Playing Yaya plus one is a gamble but less so v Swansea than against a top 6 team.
Exactly, you could see midweek he was spent.

Plus the comeback midweek and Seville away came without Kev so we've more than enough to cope without him but he needs a refresher.

Agreed.

The Toure plus 1 does us no favours but maybe the state of the squad might force it. In that case I'm hoping we can win despite the tactics. If we can't beat up a team in such disarray we really do have problems.

I'd also like us to respond tactically to how Swansea play ASAP rather than wait to go 2 goals down.

Confident we will get a result, one way or another.

Help - Have I missed Shadygiz......? Where is it?.

Pellegrini saw how the team clicked in the second half against Monchengladbach when Bony and Navas came on, which hacks back to the approach and line up at the beginning of the season when we were flying. I think the team has played the best when that front six (with Aguero in for Bony when fit) have played together. I was expecting this line up and I am happy with it. Swansea is a good team and if they are on form they are a difficult opponent for any team so we have to be on our game, no complacency because of Swansea's recent struggles. The team has to play well and get the three points.
