Understandable.
He has a drink problem, an ego problem, his players don,t like him, his assistant boss wants his job,the fans want him out,his centre forward has two league goals this season and is drinking too much and the crowd at the nil nil arena today is likely to be well down on capacity and half asleep by half time.
I call bullshit on your crowd capacity comment.
We all know there won't be an empty seat in the house, the aisles will be choca and there will be 50,000 locked outside.
Please keep up lad.

"Wayne Rooney is poor and is not going to play against Norwich, but Mitten can't say more on the topic due to legal reasons."

This could tally with allegations of him turning up half pissed at training, being suspended and not injured and being fined £600k. On the other hand Mitten could be talking bollocks. It wouldn't be the first time.

Even rags who can write know the Bryan Riggs is poisonous. Maybe we should start a campaign to save him too?

The reason he couldn't say any more more on the topic was that he ran out of shit to make up. Legal reasons my arse.

I'm afraid if you've got real, clinical depression the fact you've got lots of money in the bank, a wife that loves you, good friends, doesn't mean a thing. If anything it makes you feel guilty, that you don't deserve them. Asking how someone with millions can be depressed is like asking how someone with millions can have cancer, or heart disease. These illnesses can hit anybody, rich or poor, black or white, Tory or Labour.

As someone who has lost a member of my family to terminal cancer, i respectfully disagree with your bollox. That 'Lot's of money in the bank' can afford expert treatment. It cannot pay to reverse terminal cancer.

With respect to your loss and your circumstances, I think he was saying depression can hit anyone, regardless of finances, social standing, family arrangements, political ideologies, or anything else. In this regard, it is similar to a cough, flu, headaches, and very serious illnesses such as cancer.

Equally respectfully, I can assure you that you are not the only one to lose a close family member to terminal cancer. I have lost three. So I know exactly what the experience is like.

The point I was trying to make is that no amount of money can stop you getting these diseases. Yes, it can buy you the best of treatment, but treatment isn't always successful. And, as you may know, a fair few depressives top themselves. I have a young lad in my wider family who has already tried killing himself three times. Not just talked about it, done it. His parents are far from short of brass, but it makes no difference.

Respect for all those who died not having a choice. Getting the disease is one thing. Having a CHANCE of getting rid of it is another. I don't agree someone TRYING to kill themselves THREE times is the same as someone GETTING terminal cancer. Sounds more like a cry for help, tbh and only one has the chance of survival.
Emotive subject, covered on here in the past on the Clarke Carlisle thread. No disrespect to anyone who has a friend or relative suffering with either.
Back to the raggy arses. ;-)

It can't be easy in the public eye.... but at the same time then don't go courting it either (agreeing to the BBC documentary.... that ridiculous wrestling ''slap'' the other week at the MEN Arena etc etc)

Similar to when Beckham called a press conference asking the media to leave him alone...... daft twat couldn't get the irony of what he was doing
The thing is though Beckham relishes the media spotlight, he can't live without it. Rooney strikes me as just another thick scally from Croxteth who got lucky with his footballing ability. Nothing has really prepared him for the detailed media coverage of his life and how cruel the media can be when things are going pear-shaped. I wouldn't be too surprised if the docu and the wrestling crap were suggested by his "advisers".

What I find hilarious is the sheer fucking ignorance some of them are still displaying after all this time. Ignorance of the fact that we're no longer reliant on our owner. Ignorance of the fact that when he sells up we're not necessarily fucked. Ignorance of the fact that we've actually grown as a club and continue to grow - in all areas including supporter numbers. And of course ignorance of the fact that their club is one of the worst run out of all the so-called elite clubs in world football. More and more of them are waking up to what's going on but they should've woken up in about 2010 when we bought the likes of Yaya and Silva!

Rag

Fuck me, if Rooney does have depression the BBC will be round at the Swamp in seconds to do another fucking Rag documentary.......Christ, I hope he's OK!
