They only listen to what they need to listen too. They support a club who's negativity is swept under the carpet and most of them have done since football was 'officially' invented in 1992.

Sooner or later they will acknowledge the self-delusion that they are under. Only once they have done that can they move forward as a club. Personally, I think it will be us getting Pep which will wise them up to the idea that they are no longer the prestigious number they once were.

The sheer fact that they honestly thought someone like Moyes could just waltz into the club and pick up from where Taggert had left is incredible. The fact that they still think any manager can come in and work under that old regime, including the Adulterer is madness.

Clubs evolve and to do that they need to bin off all communication with the 'Class of 92'. They need to put them in the past where it belongs and look forward. I don't for one minute believe that Woodward is not aware of this. He knows that he has a chance to move forward with Mourinho and become a more modern club. It'll probably make them more defensive but will ensure they are competitive.

However, this all links back to the first point. So long as the media will peddle out all of their lies, link them with all the big names, constantly praise them at the expense of their rivals and be in the mix for the top 4, then I don't think their owners care. Long may it continue!!

A quick question if I may.
We always have the line Ushited bring kids through their youth thrown at us but who has come through their youth and played more than 30 games for them ? I am not talking about Granny Shagger bought from Everton or some kid who played 5 games in their youth team before being sold to whichever team Steve Bruce was currently managing, I am talking about a Scholes or who ever.
The truth is they haven't had any youngsters come through for years and yet the media still peddle that shit to us.

That's exactly what they need to do.

Instead they'll hang on to the TT and appoint Gary Neville at the end of the season with Phil Chuckle and Family man as assistants. Butt's already at the academy and Ginger pubes will be their pundit on Sky and BT.

You missed out the part where their youth team won't play our youth team. It's unfair we have snapped all of the local talent up.

If they get Mourinho in this week their chance of winning the league increases significantly in my opinion.

Jose is still one of the top 5 managers in Europe and what an incentive to prove all his doubters wrong to go and win he league with United after a poor few months with Chelsea.

It would be the classic Premier League Hollywood script.

And here it is in a nutshell......you can berate them,hate them,criticise them for wanting rid of LvG, (please refer to All your post match threads on Pellers)You can defend yourself on spending money just because United may or may not have spent more (but money earned and money given are 2 different things)you complain about Silva or Augero being injured(like you have no other players or the fact you spunked over £100 mill on sterling and KdB)whilst they are going through the worst period of internal blundering and injuries not with standing the poorest squad in years.....but yet they are only 3 points behind you.
Hatred is one thing....I get that....I despise Rochdale being an Oldham fan but sometimes that bitterness and hatred blinds the fact that you are really in no better position than them.

I agree with some of what you've said, but the last bit is bollocks. We quite literally are in a much better position than them - 3 points in the league, in the CL knock out stage and the semi finals of the League/Milk/Coca Cola Cup.....oh, and we do have a better squad..........
