Its not as if City have covered themselves in glory in either the league or the CL.
Arguably the main discussion at the end of the seasons of both your title wins was more about the dramatic loss of form of the league leaders rather than City being consistently better.

I struggle a bit with logic but let me try and get my head around this. City won the title twice in three years while being worse than someone else. However while being better the other team was somehow worse because they didn't win the title. So who was worser?

Your 2 title wins have come off the back of inexplicable events of which we will never see the like again. The arguments that you've had bad CL draws is also flimsy. You are running a £1 Billion player spend. You are the biggest spenders in world football since 2008. You should in effect be winning everything in sight. You are instead relying an huge slices of luck & are no nearer to challenging the majority of sides left in the CL. I know, I know, you've beat Bayern a few times recently. These games were all dead rubbers for Bayern though.
I can't see how you can think LVG's position is tenable. At the back end of last season we humiliated Liverpool, Spurs & City in quick succession. We would have finished 2nd but for the injury to Carrick. We are looking nowhere near replicating that form & the season is nearly half done. With LVG we will struggle to make CL & sack him at season's end. If we grant Jose his wish & allow him to manage us now i'd expect us to win the league either this season or next.

The idea of winning the title due to "collapses" etc is disingenuous. Yes, there can be a slice of luck here and there a la Slippy G but it's 38 games that the league is decided upon, not the last half a dozen. It's the way the fixtures fall.

So on your logic we should be winning the champions league because of what we spent? ignoring how completely different European football is and how we have to adjust and get use to it? We didn't qualify the first year on 10 points so to quote you above that is inexplicable. We was turd the year after and have then qualified each season since only to meet Barca. I'm not by any stretch saying we have played well, we haven't looked great and is down to management and inexperience at that kind of level.
Again though by your logic United should of romped home the title last season easily. Most expensive squad at the time so why on earth did use just scrape 4th?

CL? You do realise that in City's 5 seasons in the CL they've done better than United 3 times? The other twice United progressed further on the back of soft draws before being dumped out by a team from City's group. While City have routinely been drawn in groups of death United regularly get drawn against the worst team(s) possible. Even this season Brugge were by far the weakest team they could have got in the play off round, PSV (thanks to the new seeding system) were the worst pot 1 team ever in the CL and even in the (*smirks*) Europa League, out of the 29 teams United could have been drawn against they pull out the weakest of them all in Midtjylland. Try ditching myths for facts.
Based on your own post-match threads, City have not even put up a decent fight in most of those big games.
