Actually feel a bit sorry for him. Press scum smell blood and it's open season on a seemingly decent man. Plus he's doing a blinding job of fucking those bastards up. Save our Turtle!
The press are vultures. Once they smell blood, they're in to pick pieces off the carcass. They have no shame. Pellegrini got questioned about Guardiola (possibly) taking over in the summer. He was able to keep his cool a bit better than Van Gaal, but he shouldn't have to put up with that shite. Neither should Van Gaal.

It seemed to me like TT was just ranting semi-coherently, and the hacks were just letting him keep going, and stayed silent to wind him up; it didn't at all come across as him 'giving the press a kicking' whatsoever to me

Nobody but local supporters care about what happens in the 1930s and 1960s.
That's a distant memory.
When City go to sponsors or try to attract new fans do they talk about their wins in the 30s and 60s or do they focus on the present?

If that's the case why sing Twenty Times? Thirteen of those were before the seventies. So you lot seem to care or is it selective?

I'm not a violent person but some of these bottom-feeders in the media could have few complaints if a group of fans gave them a good kicking one day.

I didn't understand what you meant.
I am tracking City because in a space of 5 years, they have gone from regional-level to global-level.
I have never seen such a thing before so hence why I look at funding/strategy/etc.

United went from regional to global because of a plane crash.

I read your comments about their support base being because of sustained success but you're wrong. It has helped of course but the crash propelled them to the global level you mention.

The sharks are circling......

I'm on Van Gaal`s side. Apart from the obvious reason, I`d always back the individual against the mob. Journalists are vermin and football journalists are the lice around the vermin`s anus. Van Gaal has never, to my knowledge, criticised or belittled us. The same cannot be said of his tormentors.

Spot on. if i was him i would have said stuff the mince pies where the sun don't shine. There are some good football journalists who are fair, well informed and treat people with respect but a sizeable number are utter scum and we all know who these dregs are.

Im genuinely amazed this hasnt happened, naturally i would not want this even for these rats but it is easy to put a face to an article and the access to them at grounds is fairly relaxed.
