Mufc 1988, (if you haven't been banned) you said you weren't aware of any clauses regarding manyoo's financial dealings. I'm sure that there's a clause in the £500 million in bonds. A clause that means that if you fail to qualify for the CL for 2 seasons, the investors can ask for their original stake back.
I could be wrong.

That's partly right. There is a clause in the bond document that the bond holders can demand redemption if they fail to qualify for the CL in two out of three seasons but only if their earnings figure falls below a certain number. That latter condition is unlikely to happen now, given the level of revenues they pull in.
 
Apparently warnings of a possible planned attack in Stoke this weekend by United strikers is being treated by authorities as a hoax.
 
Slightly veering off topic - But youve got to wonder if journalists are now lower in the pecking order than politicians and bankers. With all the hacking crap, the bile they spout about decent people when they get a hold of something &I the general lack of professionalism we've seen in the reporting on our club, barring few exceptions the printed media journalists come across as despicable bottom feeders

Some of the responses** made here to our American mufc1988 are unnecessarily rude. She's been generally polite* and coherent. Note, I didn't say accurate, because some things are wrong, and some are more wrong. We're better than that, and should welcome the chance to educate!

* "the Arabs" comment was unintentional and apologised for, I think. People can be wrong/misspeak - apologies should be accepted unless the comment is repeated.

That's it in a nutshell. There's no point trying to speak to utd fans who don't get the rivalry. It just tells me that they're fairweather fans from abroad who's views mean nothing as they've been obtained by the media they're spoonfed.
 
I am struggling to understand why posters on here are feeling sorry for Turtle. He arrived in an arrogant fanfare as the new messiah. If he had turned it round he would now be lauding it like a Ram over a flock of sheep. OK the press now hounding him would be singing his praises but that is what they are paid to do, they need to sell papers. The hacks didn't go on about a Philoshofee, Turtle did, the hacks didn't spunk 300 mill on kids, has beens and shite, he did.

If the Rags were not 5th and about to sack Turtle the fans would be on this board, in the pub on the phone and anywhere else they could shout there putrid gobs off, all the while laughing at lickle Citeh. I don't feel sorry for the Turtle no more than I feel sorry for the rest of that arrogant shithole club.

For the life of me I don't know why we entertain scum fans on here.
If I want to read their delusional ramblings I'll go to the cafe.
