Their quarterly earnings reports from 2013-2016 make grim reading:
The 659 million followers described on each quarterly earning report hasn't changed in 3+ years. Must be stagnating in the global football economy...

/rollseyes on so many levels.

Their full year results for 2015 are just out and in these they state their targets for the year:

They missed most of their football ones apart from the League Cup but they seem to have hit most of their financial ones. But as they're not a football club, that won't matter too much I guess.

This year they've already missed two of their football targets and are in severe danger of missing another. In terms of the figures, they made an operating profit of £32.9m but that was wiped out by net financing costs of £35.2m, leaving them with a small pre-tax loss and a bottom line loss of £16.4m after tax.

The true picture is even worse than that shown because the domestic cup details are incorrect. (They're from 2013-14). In 2014-15 they exited the League Cup in the 3rd round at MK Dons and the FA Cup in the 5th round at home to Arsenal. So no last 8 in either competition.

I don't think they are as financially strong as they make out. Here's hoping they finish about 9th and continue to rot. Shower of wankers - wishing them a shit 2016.

As it is Christmas, I've been feeling reflective.
I've looked back at our intertwining history, where the two of us would be without the other, how droll our life would be if the other didn't exist, the competition, the contrast between us two, and since it's the season of goodwill I think I'll take the opportunity to say this about our foe;

Fuck the lot of them.
