Glad we got the result and the 3pts, but that was bad for my heart, but we do love the dramatics with our team don't we.............well done guys
 
Not a bad point re the ref. They were in ya face all game (ive no issue with that) quite often though got away with blatant nudges the 'corner' being a case in point. I got some strange looks in the hostelry on 90mins 22secs when i cheered us getting a free kick for one of them
 
2 unbelievable goals from 2 unbelievable players won a game that we could have lost. 1st away win since September. Won the 1st game of 2016. We are right in there. Happy as fuck!
With my sensible head on, my benchmark at the end of the 1st half of the season is 2 points per game and we are just below this. Also Mangala and Navas (who admittedly has had some decent games and tries his best) are not up to the level of this team.
 
Well, that wasn't pretty. Not for 80 mins. But look at it positively. They only scored from an OG and we won away. We're far far from our best, but hopefully we'll crack on and do something this second half of the season. It ain't lost yet. Apparently The Arse weren't convincing today either. Leicester will fall away, and have been doing.

I reckon it's ours to lose if we start getting back to the old City. But we need Vinnie back, an in form Zabba, Nasri, and a fully fit Sergio and Dave, and a YaYa who can be arsed playing. Yeah he may have scored today and against Arse, but face it, apart from that they guy hasn't been in the game lately. Sing his praises when he scoopers, but overall he's been shite lately.

COYB. A scrappy three points is still three points.

To be honest, I'd like to see us go back to that. Be on the front foot from the off cos we won't keep pulling wins out of the hat putting in performances like today.

Agreed, anyone see the Arsenal performance against Newcastle today? They stole three points at the Emirates, I'm no fan of the Barcodes but they deserved all three points not just one.

That won't be the talking point in the media.

But Blues on here need to get a grip, winning ugly from time to time is part of the package for a successful team.
 
Heartening that so many on here recognise we were fortunate and the only 'mark of champions" type comments seem tongue in cheek. Sometimes you do need luck to grind out the odd result, but the fact that we recognise this is what makes us better human beings than the cunts in Stretford.
 
Great finish from Toure and brilliant cross and finish from Sagna and Aguero. Got us out of jail.

We have to buy a CB because Mangala is going to cost us points. Awful performance.
 
That could be the catalyst although I doubt it because for a lot of today s game we were rank. What is wrong that we looked so disjointed for so long. Something clearly not right somewhere. Hopefully we get our fingers out now because this title is there for the taking.
