Can't believe they are still recycling the Bale rumor again. Hasn't Real said there is no way they are selling him in the immediate future?

Half the money and swap bale coming for De gea going and your nearer the truth. I take great comfort in these stories because as long as the scum are occupied pedaling this shit it means they are not actually doing anything to stop the rot. I can see the turtle getting a contract extension at this rate.

Even in the latter seasons at Maine Road, City had a better rep than United regarding corporate hospitality. That's not just a blue tinted thing either - I know United fans who alluded to it too. I've not done corporate at our current home but imagine it's the dog's bullocks.

First opportunity to take the wife, the lad or the dad go for it mate. Brilliant day out and one for the memory bank.

Maine Rd was pretty dire for corporate (in hindsight) but I think that is the era when Utd invested heavily in corporate – i.e. through the 90s. I assume that complacency just imbedded itself when they were doing well. Same goes for their youth facility at the Cliffe. It would not surprise me if you could easily sink several hundred million into the Toilet and the Cliffe to bring them in to line with the best of the competition. I’d also wager that the Toilet is riddled with asbestos. They might make their council house jokes but is strongly suspect they have some significant problems.

How can it be riddled when three of the four stands post date the '99 Asbestos Regs. Also after 1985 only asbestos cement was (legally) used in any construction. Can't see there being any or much of the hazardous stuff in the Main Stand personally fwiw. Ironically enough, the old Kippax roof was possibly one of the biggest continuous sheet of asbestos cement in the country.

Agree with your assessment about united's complacency about their corporate facilities however. It's symptomatic of a vein of lazy arrogance coursing through that club which is now visiting their door.

Now in pole position to sign Bale for £75m according to the Mirror. How these cunts earn a living I'll never know.
All based on the supposition that Bale loved Rafa, so will probably hate Zidane, as you would, and so is
a shoe-in for a stella career at the Rags.
Although I don't slate papers for having their own agenda, being right or left wing etc; the Mirror is probably the biggest cheer leader for the Rags,
which is unfortunate for them, as they always pick the losers and are massively outsold by the Sun, Mail etc;

Who would Bale learn more off to improve his game.

A man who's lauded as one of the best in the world with regards to technique or a manager that's all about safety first and stifling talent?

Aye, there doesn't seem to be an argument about that.
It'd be like Amir Khan becoming Donald Trump's PA.

100% correct. I've done the last 4 derby matches at the swamp in the corporate and a few at The Etihad and i agree, the standard at City is out of this world in comparison. I'm in The Legends for the Palace match and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone thinking of trying it.
Frankie, my nephew was on the books and went with the senior squad to Abu Dhabi. He said the hotel that he stayed at was once a palace. They got new slippers with gold crested motifs every day. His bedding was flattened out every time there was a crease in them. Also one night they were to have a BBQ. It was an individual one on your own balcony with every meat you could mention. So for City to have the best match day experience, well it does not surprise me one bit. As a club they will never let them standards down.

Sorry, I am guessing that the ‘new’ stands were built on to the old existing infrastructure. I don’t recall them ever flattening anything like we did with the Kippax. I must admit I know practically nothing about the old toilet.

Upon reflection, you may be right about them building on the existing structure, certainly up to a point.

Cybertwat is at it again. Apparently our youth system is based on giving vast sums of money to the best players in the rags academy. The proof? The fact that the rags have thought about not playing us at youth level.
Haha, deluded ****. I wonder what his excuse for the kids of rags players in our academy is. Do we bribe them too?

the level of service varies wildly depending on the lounge, as well as the overall quality.

Ahhhh your cup final, big game for you, but dont take your eye off the next 2 games, Liverpool is the big one, look at all they have won after all, history is important.
Games against historic rivals is always big ... regardless of where the 2 teams lie in the table.
When City were relegation-battlers, wasn't the game against us the biggest one for you?
