Are we improving?

Hmm, we're improving as a Club all of the time - however, we will improve fundamentally over the next 2-3 years time - the Club will be alot different in 5 years time.
 
Above the manager yes we are certainly. Right now our manager is in decline, and although on paper our squad has improved, we as a team have also declined. However with the manager change this summer we should improve in all areas
 
Agreed off the field were making great strides but on it I can't see any progress. Not once have I seen us organized in midfield and control a game for 90 mins. Last night we postured for 20 mins passed the ball well and looked pretty decent but then Everton had their first spell of possession and then it was them who controlled the midfield and looked more like winning the game. FFS our first attempt on target was in the 62 mins.....with one of our strongest line up. Its just not good enough.
 
i would say, as a Club we're on the up, as a team at current we are declining

Sergio had two shots saved towards the end of the first half, one by the keeper and one by Nunes Mori, so 62 minutes first attempt is rubbish.
 
Personally think the 11/12 squad would thrash us atm so no, on paper we've added better players since then but our best players ( Kompany aguero silva yaya zaba) are all a shadow of what they was In11/12 this season

Much more hunger in that side as well, now most of the squad doesn't give a toss.
 
We're still competing for 4 trophies, which is an utter shock considering the form we've been showing. Our play is only getting worse. We need Vinny back with the armband to rally the troops
 
Like others have said, off the pitch we're improving hugely but on the pitch we've declined a lot, we've bought badly imo.
 
All but coaching. It shows in every game that the squad isn't being coached properly. I would add to that player fitness and mental strength is questionable. I wouldnt be shocked if we won a trophy this year but I would be surprised. However the ambition of was it 5 trophies in three years now appears a pipe dream, now that Mr Pellegrini is working a now depleted Mancini team.

Competing for 4 trophies at the moment I don't think we will be after the weekend though
