And to think, a couple of months or so ago they couldn't wait to let everyone know on Twitter/Facebook etc proclaiming 'normal order had been restored' when they were top of the league, the wankers will never learn, it's in their DNA.

I'm loving the schadenfraude at the moment :-D

St James pitch looked enormous - is it bigger than most? Just got the impression that on a narrower pitch they'd cope so would look fine against most teams.

Maybe I was dreaming. :-)

Btw loved how Sky made out that United were playing well just because they were 3-2 up. When really they were second best for almost all of the 2nd half.

Rooney back ... Me ass!

Shush... this was the best outcome for us the rag fans think things are getting better so keep the turtle in and they didn't get 3 points.

SSN headlines all about Ruuuuunnnnneeeee scoring 2 then though gritted teeth mention they only drew

Probably no mention of their MOTM in Mike Dean. Imagine where Utd would be if they had the same decisions we get ie no penalties. 2 wins and 1 draw in their last 3 games v Swansea (who came an inch from drawing in the last seconds), A shocking dive and penalty v Sheff Utd and a complete biased ref performance last night in awarding them a penalty, turning down Newcastle shouts, not sending off Smalling etc

So a team that was seen as title contenders in August spend a lot of money, can't score surrenders a 2 goal lead then an equaliser in the injury time to relegation cannon fodder. The media is spinning this as progress and a 3 all thriller.

If it was us they'd be wanking themselves silly over it. Let's hope these draws continue its doing just enough to keep turtle in his job before they realise it's too late to get top 4.

You could see in the tunnel before the game, Dean kept trying to start up conversations with Rooney. It was embarrassing. Dying to be 'Wazza's' mate...

That was one shocking ref performance. The Utd pen, the Newcastle stonewaller.... and how Fellaini finished the game..... Altho i'm quite glad he did, don't want him getting banned, much rather he was on the pitch....

That Wijnaldum looked a player. Newcastle been playing well for a while but too easy to score against

That Wijnaldum looked a player. Newcastle been playing well for a while but too easy to score against

Last season whilst watching PSV regularly, in order to keep an eye on Karim Rekik, I thought Wijnaldum was the best of their 'sought after' players. Depay got a lot of headlines but basically he did what he does for Utd now (run with his head down & shoot, only see one pass out of 20) but against some of the worst defences you could ever see, he was running through them. He has a great 'dig' on him & can take a mean free kick, but seemed to lack intelligence. The usual FM mob on here were going overboard about Depay, but if there was a player out of that squad which I'd have taken for City at this time, it would have been Wijnaldum, who looked just as good as Depay in the attacking 3rd but was all over the pitch.

Although tbh i wouldn't have taken any of them, as they were too headless to fit into a City team without disrupting it. Wijnaldum looks as if he's learning quickly & imo is well worth keeping an eye on. Jetro Willems is another from PSV who 'could' do something (if he ever learns how to defend).

Be interesting to see how Depay goes. He undeniably has raw talent, but seems as thick as two short planks in footballing terms, a lazy twat, & a twat.

adding to that did anybody see who was 4th official YEP R Madley

did you hear the cringey arse licking shite?
"their anything but boring tonight, this is the best they've played for some time, even Paul Scholes is happy"......was fuckin awful, they played a team that had lost their last 4 games without scoring a goal ffs.
