Looks like the turtle is indeed tactical. If they try to attack and score it just exposes their championship standard defense. They saw their arse last night against a side that on recent form should have taken a month rather than 45 mins to score three.

They simply can't do both it seems but not just a bit, they are like a see-saw it is one or the other, no middle ground at all.
So it is total anti football that may MAY just get them cl or sparks of attacking endeavour that will most likely see them finish roughly where they are now.
Not great choices or prospects for them lot.
 
Meanwhile over at the rag caf, they have figured out that the Turtle is actually the mastermind behind Spain and Germanys world cup succes

In 4 years time when guardiola or giggs is managing a title winning squad with the likes of martial & memphis being unplayable, smalling & blind having an almost synchronised partnership & where the likes of shaw, mcnair & lingard all improve and grow.. Come back to this thread and thank van gaal.

There's only one reason, muller, alaba, schweinsteiger, robben, ribery, xavi, iniesta, puyol, valdes-ish, badstuber etc speek highly of this manager & because he was fundamental to the building of success.

He himself has been an average trophy winning manager for years but no one can doubt his methodical & observant methods on the long term future of this club.

He went barcelona - eventually became unbeatable & still unbeatable after his . Spain win the world cup-something never to be done.

He went tk bayern- eventually became unbeatable & still unbeatable after his sacking. Germany also go on to win the world cup.


Every squad is tarnished with LVG players be that international or club & i have no doubt we will succeed after he has had his time cut lose by impatient fans.

All this bickering about shots v goals... don't forget after the first 3 games this season they had managed to score more goals than they had actually had shots on target thanks to wicked deflections and OG's

So again I will ask, if we have twenty shots tonight all of which are off target can Pellers come out and say we could have scored twenty? No he can't. If you walk around a Ferrari garage without having the money to pay for one you can't say I could have owned one. With only four shots on target you can't score six goals. What he should have said is 'with the chances we created we should have been able to score six'.

But they had 24 shots last night and LVG saying they could have scored 6 was fair comment. They could have also conceded six.

You're argument is semantics and incorrect anyway.
