I dread Utd doing something intelligent and buying a late-arriving midfielder who can get up and down the pitch or a decent target man centreforward.

Last time United did something intellegent in the transfer market was buying van Persie in summer 2012. Rest of the time up to now has had the intelligence of a headless chicken. Nothing to worry about here.

Strange reply from a city fan about sterling don't you think?
Sniff sniff sniff anybody?

Yes, I live in London. Is that a problem?

First match, 1984-5 season under Billy MacNeill. Was at the promotion 5-1 vs Charlton when we had to sit in the Platt Lane end as the ground was full. Laughed at 4 mounted coppers trying to prevent a pitch invasion.
Season ticket 1985-7, main stand, mostly watching Kenny Clements and Mick McCarthy head the ball out of defence.

Are only authorised opinions acceptable now?

All right calm down I didn't want your life story.
I thought your reply about sterling was a bit odd which is fair isn't it?
I'll lay my cards on the table and say you sounded like one of the rag softarses we have on here who like to get their digs in about us ever so slyly.
Why did you bring Sterling into the equation when it wasn't about him?
Like I said it was very odd.

Only a rag would spell Billy McNeill's name wrong.

Anyone noticed that Martial just runs into players with the balls and just sometimes gets a lucky bounce?

I've not seen any really blistering pace or genuine skill/trickery from him yet... as you say, he just seems to have this knack of bundling and stumbling his way through defenders and somehow finding the ball at feet when he comes out the other side.

It came over as a bit accusatory.

I may have minsterpreted what the comment referred to - I won't be the first to do so.

That's in French ^^

Someone's leaked Martial's transfer documents online.

€50m up front, €10m for 25 united goals, €10m for 25 france caps, €10m for Ballon d;Or nomination, 50% of the profit goes to Monaco when they sell him.

So short of a catastrophy for the kid, they're going to pay a minimum of €70m - £54m.

And yet I never hear commentators talk about his transfer fee every 5 minutes, unlike Kevin or Sterling, who have both massively out performed him as well.
