Toure's agent speaks out (again)

What does it tell us that this surfaces at this point in the season. If Toure was a team player he'd be sending out a "we can do this", "let's prove we're the best team" message, a call to arms. Instead it's all about him.
He's a great player, but every time he opens his mouth - or his agent does - he sounds like a Class A git. I don't see how that doesn't impact on the dressing room.
Yep, Say goodbye to him now. Bad egg, should have gone in the summer. Best years behind him.
Vice-captain who delivers no inspiration any more

I see it GM! We've got a fair number of players who can score goals, but no one who can score a Yaya goal!
They expect him to score, tackle, sweep up defensively, control the midfield, be an attacking midfielder, be a creative midfielder, motivate the others and make the f*cking tea.
Ok - say his days are numbered - who's going to do all that?

Score - Sometimes he does, when he does it is usually outstanding goal
Tackle - Lol
Sweep up defensively - I oonce saw him do that
Control the midfield - If yuou mean from a match point of view then it is usually the opposition who control it when Yaya is playing
Attacking - Yes yes yes
Creative - Yes
Motivates - Not sure about that
Tea - I hear Pep will be brought in to do that anyway

Yaya is a luxury we can afford (Like Kinkladze) and I am sure he is more influential than most think. I like him tbh, despite his dickhead agent

What I'm getting at is - they expect too much from one player. Some don't even know what they expect - they just jump on the bandwagon when the rest of the team aren't performing that well either.

Better add win every header to the expectations

What I expect him to do first and foremost is keep his fkin mouth shut.
Either him or his agent wait until a time when we really need him and then start opening their mouth.
Sick of him and his agents bullshit.

Why don't we have a competition on here to see how many different ways we can criticise one of the best players to ever pull on a city shirt. Some people need to think back a few years at the dross we had to watch that deserved criticism and then perhaps they might realise how lucky we are to have players of Toures calibre at this wonderful club.

Ah right, I see. I agree, they expect too much of him, he isnt a defensive player, he is an attacking creative player, put him up front behind Aguerro and get soomeone else doing the tackling

Criticism for his current game does not equal a lack of appreciation of what he has done

The team comes first though. It's arguable whether City are better with or without Toure starting.

Pellegrini got it right on Saturday by bringing him on when he did and he had a positive contribution to the game.

For me I'd start Delph in midfield whenever possible now. He deserves a run in the team.

I'd liken him to ibrahimovic. Of course if he'd signed for us, he'd have scored great goals, important goals and occasionally pulled us out of the shit.
It's the crap that comes with the contribution that's the problem.
It's looking like yaya is leaving so I'd dothe same as wwhat we did with Stephen Ireland. A loyalty bonus dependent on keeping ones mouth shut. Let's hope he and his agent can hold out longer than the pink range rover

There isn't one player who could currently step into Yaya's shoes and deliver what he has delivered. Pogba is about as near as you could get from what I've seen but he falls a little short in crucial, skill-defying goals. Has Poggers come close to scoring the kinda goals that Yaya has delighted us with?
