Yeah, didn't he play as an emergency centre half against us one season ( all five foot whatever of him) and play a blinder?Doesn't who gets injured for Everton the replacement will have a stormer just like Hibbert used to always do

edit. Thread is for todays games and not about our manager so i have removed my response.
Not convinced John Stones is even an average defender yet. If he didn't like dribbling and look calm on the ball, I'm not convinced anyone would be raving about him, the actual defensive side of his game leaves a lot to be desired.

Zinadine will play and kick start his England career, Lukaku will play havoc with our defence and Gaz Baz will remind us of how effective he was sitting in front of the back four.I bet these injuries have disappeared by Wednesday when a mixed Barca/RM/Bayern play us.
Oh and after having a better ref yesterday, we will now get nothing for the rest of the season.

Should never have sold him. Definitely better than Fernando and, from what I remember, he wasn't agitating for a move, unlike Milner. You move players in and out to improve the squad, not weaken it. Not one of Pelle's finest momentsGaz,come back
