Post Match Thread: City vs Everton

exactly...where was the over the line projection from the computer I wonder that could shoe it was touching the outer line...or could their be an agenda from sky..hmmmmmmmmm

In all honestly l think we can agree the ball was just over the line. Very hard to be spotted by ref or linesman. And they need to be sure when making a decision. But it evens up easily to decisions over two legs against us. Penalty 1st leg. Foul on Aguero for their first goal today.

Do I f*ckin' care.............I am crying into my Champagne........

I don't give a shit either, I am just dismayed at Sky DELIBERATELY trying to make the ball look more out than it was. It was travelling at speed and half an inch over, if that. Wankers, cunts and arseholes the fucking lot of them.

That's how its done, well played City.

We were talking about mcnabs pen away at shrews last night. We'd not won away for about 20yrs, and he missed, 90th minute.
How times have changed, long may it last.

Yaya can't play number 10 anymore, Silva needs to be central, Delph shouldn't of came off at halftime he's seemingly the go to sub now like Fernandinho used to be. And it seemed suicidal to have a midfield with Sterling KDB Silva and Navas and only Fernandinho sitting. However it worked and we're through! Saw movement today that i haven't seen all season, everybody was making runs off the ball again and Silva and was playing those delightful balls around the side of the centre half. Didn't seem like we had much of a gameplan though as a lot of the time players were making the same runs and there was nobody running off the runners, looked for a while in the first half like we wouldn't break them down. Credit to them though, they kept at it and got the job down. Still room for improvement with shape, movement and particularly tempo but that was very very encouraging and surely will provide a platform for us to kick on, go on a nice unbeaten run and smash a few teams in the process.

Only downside being the KDB injury. That could be very costly, If he's out for the season that's a big big blow, i'd sooner of gone out than have him missing for the league run in.

I really despise that bloody Baines bloke. Fuck you! We're off to Wemberley!
I used to really like him, but as he's got older he leaves his foot in - a really sneaky thing to do and always a risk to causing a bad injury. I also think that they had a blooming hooligan at the back who was allowed to come in from behind all game - the last one actually caused KDB to fall with his knee fully extended beneath him - plus when he was feather touched he went down like the proverbial sack of. As they say you reap what you sow...ha!

Little bit of nauties outside. Everton fans throwing stuff over the fences by the bridge. Hey ho, bit upset probably.

Only had 5live to listen too tonight, but how did David Silva play ? Didn't really hear his name that much.

Not a great game to be honest, some nice touches and passes as always but not a great influence overall. The best moments were down to aguero's movement or nasvas or sterling wing play and also kdb looked really sharp. Silva was ok, yaya was pedestrian.

It looks further over every time you look at it. I'm sure Sky are fucking moving that line on the replay.
The first replay was um is it, maybe just over. You could see the edge of the ball just over. Then as they show it more and more the gap gets fucking bigger
and it looks 6 inches over.

I just mean, if it was clearly out (in the phase of play) it would have been given as so, but because the officials couldn't be sure or see with the benefits of TV, it wasn't clearly out.

And I'm sure I saw a replay where it was millimetres in but I never saw that angle again

Normally 12 months unless you have a particular type of surgery that can have you back quicker but the risk of doing it again increases.

The docs mentioned medical ligament damage which usually heals much faster after surgery.

You usually know straight away if you have done your ACL or your PCL as do the doctors and scans only confirm what you already know.

If you have good motor controls its actually possible to play without an ACL, ACL is no longer the injury it use to be, recovery time can be much faster. Theres actually a premier league footballer playing with no ACL at the moment however their name was not published in the study. However its MCL apparently and if its low grade then it could just be a couple of weeks.

No criticism tonight. Excellent performance from manager and players.

(If we'd lost though, The bearded Richard Dune, Willy Calamitero and Atkins were getting it ;-)

Tbf I didn't think Willy did anything wrong thought he played decent. Richard dunne pissed me off a few times though! (I know it's not aimed at me) :-)
