Post Match Thread: City vs Everton

Didn't think it was a free kick but that goalkeeper should get a ban. Could have made what looks a bad injury even worse.

In fairness to the goalie he thought Kevin was play acting in injury time, players do it all the time, as soon as he tried to pick him up he saw he was in trouble, he was talking to him the full time while the medics were on, he probably feels pretty shit himself

Ref was poor allowed them to go around clogging City players KDB looks like knee ligaments their GK was an arse the way he tried to drag him up could have caused more damage The ball may well have been out but that's 3 - 1 in their favour for bad decisions No doubt Sky will concentrate on that decision with Martinez talking about the ref's maturity

Scored 3 hit the post twice and Kun should of scored when he hit his standing foot. Great display.

"I wouldn't pay to watch Kevin De Bruyne. Does he get that many important goals?"

Great spirit in the lads to comeback. Once we took took Delph off and stopped inexplicably having Yaya as the shield for our defence we completely dominated them and gave them nothing. Navas yet again making a huge difference just by keeping width and giving us shape, then De Bruyne coming on to add the cutting edge. Today is more proof imo that Yaya shouldn't start games. He can't play deep and we clearly have better option to play in that number 10 role instead off him, but that's a debate for another day. Fuck you Everton, no Wembley for you.

Everton are a team of utter shit houses and Atkinson is a prick for letting them get away with it. De Bruyne looks likely to be out for the season and that can be laid squarely at the referees door for letting them just kick us off the park once we went ahead.

How Tom "who needs Wesley Sneijder" Cleverley didn't get booked earlier on, I'll never know. Baines getting away with that cynical swipe at Navas towards the end, not even a free-kick, and De Bruyne's injury was caused by another poor challenge. They got away with murder, ironically something they mock Liverpool for. Poor officiating. Got what they deserved.
