League Cup Final Ticket Allocation {merged}

You surely aren't saying it's not fair whilst also suggesting we should of had more than Gillingham because we had a bigger average crowd.

Obviously everyone would love a 50-50 split of tickets but it's never going to happen. Isn't there something daft like 10,000 club wembley seats for a start? That would leave 80k seats left, we're getting 31-32k or about 80% of what's available. The percentage split is more than likely more favourable at Wembley than it is for some of the bigger league games now when City take off a big chunk for corporate or friends of Kompany.

I'd be willing to bet there isn't over 30,000 people on the cup scheme so everyone on the cup scheme will get a ticket if they want one. And then quite frankly, nobody else has the right to moan about not getting one if they wasn't at the earlier rounds.

I'd be surprised if more than half of that are on the cup scheme. There were only 12000 on it 2 years ago.

People don't quite get this. For a start there are 18,000 corporate tickets which both sets of fans can access. Most of the remaining 10,000ish are actually divided half and half as MCFC tickets and LFC tickets. They are available through Football clubs, but are still in one "end".

That's why, whether the allocation is a 25k FA Cup final one, or a 35k semi final ones the stadium is basically half and half. The only "neutral" type area are those two small blocks around the tunnel, which I think are sponsors.

So there will be 40-45k City there even though the club are only selling 31,500 tickets.

18,000 corporate ?????????????????

So the Club get 31,000 tickets allocated then there is 14,000 more tickets up for grabs from different outlets ,why not just give City 45,000 and Liverpool 45,000 and let them sort it out ,much easier and at least that way it looks fairer and the ticket agencys ect wont make a fortune

I don't get it Dave as there will be tomorrow at the latest loads of (ticket agencys) flogging tickets for 3 or 4 time the value ,City have probably the best part of 40,000 season ticket holders ,the system stinks remember Gillingham there average crowd was probably less than10.000 ours was over 30.000 we got the same allocation more or less ,it has never been fair and will probably never will be

The ticket agencies are basically legalised touting and they have loads of avenues to get tickets. That's what their business is based on. It's a bit of a dark art but they will have access to tickets through season ticket holders, through Club Wembley members, players, staff, you name it. I'm not saying it's right but the simple laws of capitalism are than in a seller's market it will happen. Always has.

I'm not being exact here but I've got a rough idea how it works. There are only say 8-10K non-corporate tickets which are split half and half between each club. They are made available to all the FA-affiliated clubs, but are still charged at the same price and it's made clear they are only for one set of fans. So, as an example, the football team I'm a coach of might be given access to say 2 City tickets. Any City fans who want them will take them - I bloody will. So you don't need loyalty points or whatever to get them, but you are supposed to be an FA member. How it actually works in practice is that whoever supports City in the coaching staff, or their friends, put the word out and grab them.

This is why, when we played Stoke, they were allocated an extra 2K tickets midway throught he selling process. Their allocation wasn't increased. These were those FA tickets which nobody had bought.

I'm not sure if this is clear, and I'm not saying it's right, I'm just saying that the ground is going to be more or less 50:50 with the odd neutral, rather than with 30K neurtals as the initial allocation suggests.

Plus the whole if the middle tier is Club Wembley isn't it? Like a season ticket for all events played at Wembley.

So can anyone give me an idea of what paid in past finals,I was in the gods v Stoke and Wigan for example, they the £40 tickets ? Or are the £40 ones behind the goals on level 1 ?

Level one are more expensive.

It would seem that its cup scheme first as it should be then points from 8500 dropping to 7000 in the afternoon (Friday 12th) then drops of 500 points a session until sold out I would imagine.

I think it sold out on very low points last time.

JUNIOR SEASONCARD HOLDERS:

We appreciate that there may be a significant difference in ticket points between junior supporters (aged 16 and under) and their parent(s) or guardian(s). A very limited allocation of tickets will be made available to 2015/16 Platinum, Gold or 93:20 Seasoncard holders registered on the League Cup Scheme aged 16 and under, for purchase together with a qualifying adult Seasoncard holder. At the point where the adult qualifies, they can also purchase ONE junior† ticket regardless of the junior’s ticket point status

Please note, this option is only available to supporters purchasing over the phone, and all juniors must be accompanied by an adult (aged 18 or over).

Once this limited allocation has been sold, no further tickets will be available and all junior Seasoncard holders must then qualify in their own right to purchase a ticket. Supporters will be advised at the point of sale when the limited allocation of tickets available to juniors has sold out.

Should the 2015/16 Platinum, Gold or 93:20 Seasoncard holder registered on the League Cup Scheme have turned 17 during the season a ticket can still be purchased together with a qualifying adult, however the prevailing adult rate will be charged in line with the regulations of Wembley Stadium.

Please note: If the supporter number used is that of an adult, then only an adult ticket may be purchased. This also applies to 16s and under and over 65s.

All concession tickets will have stubs removed at point of sale and cannot be used by adults. Babes in arms under the age of 6-months will be permitted into the stadium without a valid match ticket.

I don't see why anyone buys pints in the pubs anyway - it's so expensive in London!

I'm gonna be taking a crate of Budweiser down!

What was our allocation before? And weren't the prices quite similar? I'm trying to get some estimate as to when it will sell out this time.
