It's hypocritical to bitch at length about goal line technology when your club took advantage of officials' miscues in the past. So, I've got no sympathy for you. If Everton were off to Wembley, Andy would be in happy all around.
 
I was going to let this thread pass, but what the hell.
I used to work with Andy many moons ago and we stayed good friends for a while, but lost touch around the time he became an MP. Anyway, you'd do well to find a more fundamentally good bloke and decent human being. The year or so we worked together we spent most of the time chatting shit about football - me taking the piss out of the Everton diddy men at the time and winding him up about the real threat of relegation that year (94) and him having plenty of ammo to chuck back about city. I've never had a better work colleague before or since. Genuine footie fan and evertonian just about from birth (he's from St. Helens to those who've called him a scouse ****). So no doubt his tweets last night were borne out of genuine frustration, disappointment and desire to denigrate your successful opponent. So fucking what. It's just banter. Fair play to those who tweeted back, but to just post on here a load of verbal abuse is just moronic, let alone to bring his politics into it.

I've met him probably 20 times. He's a bellend. So much so that me, a natural left winger living in a Labour stronghold, cannot bring myself to vote for him despite him being a member of my preferred party.
