The squad is going to be stretched now until April at least, so without signing anyone how will the squad cope?

Firstly don't play Yaya in a midfield 2. Have 2 from Delph, Fernando and Fernandinho and use Yaya further forward as an extra body to rotate with Silva (who can also play on the left). I'd start Yaya every other game and use him as an impact sub for the other one.

Play 2 up top more with Ihenacho and Bony more involved. Ihenacho more as an impact sub as well with the bench weakened a lot.

Sterling and Navas are going to have to be used a lot.

Give Garcia game time and anyone else from the under 21s who looks like they could do a job.

Going out the FA Cup early may be better in the long run.

Any more injuries and it's going to be tough.

Make the midfield more compact. Yaya, Delph and Fernandinho with sterling and navas put wide with aguero in the middle would make us deadly on the counter whilst giving us a solid base so we don't leak stupid goals. Of course silva isn't in that team but he's woefully out of form at the moment

There's loads of things we can do.

Obviously the main thing will be 4231 with Sterling-Silva-Navas.

But we can rest Silva and go 442 with Kalechi and Aguero or Bony (who will be better in a 2).

We can res Aguero easily.

We can go 433 like we did against Sevilla and rest silva for Fernando.

Pellegrini has already played Delph in Sterlings position, so that's another option (but not one I think anyone really wants to see)

Pellegrini mentioned Barker a lot in the press conference according to @LoveCity so obviously he's an option, but Angelino also played LW a few times on his loan in NY and that would be an easy way to bring him into the team without risking the defence.

We should be more than capable of covering their injuries, it's just about being sensible and rotating.
