Is anyone worried about fixture congestion?

Delighted with the team just now but the fixtures are piling up. I don't recall us ever having been fighting on four fronts in February before.

One thing that would be a problem is replays so I think we should always go shit or bust in this comp in the next couple of rounds if the game is tight with 15 to go.

Yes, that's why I wouldn't have been particularly bothered if we'd lost today. We've already got that Newcastle game to squeeze in. The good news is that we haven't had any replays so far, and Arsenal have the same problem, more,or less.

No.

We go out of competitions and folk moan, we progress and folk moan.

This club is about winning now and lots of games is to be savoured, not moaned or worried about.

My big hope is that we get our big guns fit and firing for the last 8 weeks. If we've been lucky enough to avoid injuries to our key players before then and still in all competitions I reckon we can give everything domestic a proper good go.

Can never understand Blues not minding if City get knocked out of a competition given the position we're now in. Newcastle game is the only one affected by League Cup & other league games not affected unless we reach FA Cup QF. And that could even work to our advantage, games rearranged later in season when we hopefully may have a fully fit squad - yeah, we could get new injuries too - and we know exactly what we need to do. So, no.

Quite the opposition, fixture congestion usually means your doing something right.

However:

Leicester City (H)
Tottenham (H)
Dinamo Kiev (A)
Liverpool (N)
Liverpool (A)

Is going to test our squad, 5 important games across 3 competitions.
