As City fans for years and years, seeing the dark days of us in English football.. putting through a lot of dross, seeing the RAGs dominate for so long..

We deserve our moment and the Bluemoon is rising !! nobody can begrudge us this.

Ah, but we are not cut from the kind of cloth that 'deserves' things. We have to 'earn' them, and unless we stuff 76k into the Etihad or charge the PL's top prices for tickets we won't have earned the right kind of money to have those things!
 
I almost hate to say this.... but deserve's got nothing to do with it. There's a streak in front of you and you eat it. You take advantage of the times when you had money in the kitty and we're drawing 50,0000 at home. Because ANYTHING can happen in football.

I think it is more the case of City and our owners deserve full stadiums from us and our support. They have thrown more at City than everyone expected and nearly 8 years on, they are continuing to put their money where their mouth is.
So, all home games should be selling out from this day forward and look forward to them announcing the rest of the stadium expansion to 60,000+.

Not sure we "deserve" it. We've shown loyalty through thick and thin, and a lot of thin.. but by that measuring stick, a lot of teams would have been rewarded. And, what team does "deserve" success? All you can do is love your team whatever the results. We've won the lottery, and I'll take it. But I hope we don't ever think we deserve it. That's the way United and Liverpool fans think. They deserve better players and better things because they had a period of success or because they have 500 million plastic fans who've never been to a match. No team deserves success. That said, I'll be giving it big to every United fan who mocks us for being a joke of a club.

If my prayers are answered, and the scum keep LVG for another season before handing over to Giggs, we could realistically see the total demise of Manchester United as we know it. They are in such a complete mess that a decline on the scale that happened to Liverpool is a very plausible outcome. We could be talking decades before they see silverware again. Oh please god, please.

The funny thing is that it was they Stretford United who planted the seeds of all of this decades ago.....they really didnt bank on it coming back to bite them, let alone by those just a few miles away in Manchester.
 
I still have my ticket from the Middlesbrough match(8-1)
I smile broadly at the journey since that day.
