Being reported that they're planning to close the Baconface Stand for the FC Midtjylland game.

Cue a 2-page special in The Mirror about empty seats.....not.

surely not ???? Queue round the block.............. 25 year waiting list and all that folklore.................

This debunks all your propaganda. SAF wanted shot of him NQAT. When a player's contract is due to expire & the board are making no attempt to open negotiations then the writing's on the wall. It suits your clubs narrative that you stole one of our stars but we all know this wasn't the case.

You say Tevez was good for you but we all know he did a great deal of damage to your clubs reputation. If he'd have tried anything like that with SAF he'd have been lucky to play football anywhere again let alone at Utd.

Frightening from us tonight. Martial is sheer class. I thought all the talk of him being the new Henry was BS but you can see the kids got something special.

A shame that LVG still won't realise that his style of play won't work in the PL & he'll revert back to type.

Was a little irked at the Pep news yesterday. The doom & gloom is fading now though. We get Jose next season, make a couple of signings & have better luck with injuries & i can see us back to where we belong.

7th again ;-)

Fuck off you rag twat. Ushited are back haha . ffs you arent even in the top four and wont finish there regardless.
Tevez was great for City and really pissed off the purple nosed ****.
Wonder if you wil be posting after Chelsea twat you on Sunday.

Scholes did.

I love the way he's trying to think on his feet to find negatives but failing miserably. The quote "I don't think he's shown the fight...", followed by the sound of the grinding cogs in his puny brain, has a wonderful Sisyphean quality about it.

And here's what your own official statement says: http://www.manutd.com/en/News-And-Features/Football-News/2009/Jun/Tevez-leaving-United.aspx
The Club agreed to pay the option price of £25.5m and offered Carlos a five-year contract which would have made him one of its highest paid players. Disappointingly however, his advisors informed the Club that, despite the success he has enjoyed during one of the Club’s most successful periods, he does not wish to continue playing for Manchester United.
I'll say it again (and it's clearly backed up by the club statement) that he WAS offered a contract but the wage ceiling the Glazers had imposed wasn't enough to tempt a player of his quality and KJ rightly knew he could do a lot better for his client.

What you are quoting is from 2009. There have been further developments & SAF broke his silence in 2011.

You can choose not to believe. Knowing what we know about SAF & the press not one journo out there would dare put up false stories about his Utd business dealings. You only have to look at what happened to the BBC when they made false allegations.

What we know about the Govan pass can is that he is a proven liar.

The fat lad with the beard in that vid is the lad who was charging foreign rag fans £20 to drink with him in a rag pub and 1k to meet old rag players

I know that tosser. He used to play rugby league with my step brother. He has always been a tit and he was shite at rugby. His dad, who is a decent bloke and a big Salford Reds RLFC fan, was the coach of the team.

"The other scenario is just as discomforting, as it would highlight just how far the club has fallen in terms of reputation, as the prospect of United offering the former Barcelona manager the chance to replace Van Gaal only to receive a polite “no thanks” would have been unthinkable until a couple of years ago.

I heard he quoted the pope when he replied.

"United are so wrapped up in their sense of superiority that they’ve failed to notice commercial deals alone aren’t enough to guarantee success on the pitch"

But but but. Noodle partnerships make money. Where does football come into it ? Failed to notice, or ignored as of no importance as long as the money rolls in?

Goodbye tick. Hello tock.

North stand to be closed for this one. No demand for tickets it seems

Need to lower the prices. Make it even £1 for say under 12s, get the ground full
Erm didn't they take the piss out of us doing kids for a quid?
Just when you thought ragcafe was done with the comedy gold moments they go and throw this little beauty in.
