Pep Guardiola has spoke about his new job at Manchester City for the first time today. At a press conference at Bayern Munich's training ground.
"I'm concentrating on doing my job. I've already explained why I'm going to England. You have to trust me."
When asked whether Manchester City will be a distraction he said: "No, I'm like a woman, I can multi-task!"
Asked why he chose City and not Manchester United, Chelsea or Arsenal, he said: "I don't want to talk about Man City until June."
I know it’s a new situation. But I can live with this situation without any problem. I will attack every day, I just focus on my tactics, on the players , on each game as they come. While I am here, I have done my best, and I will do my best until my last minute here."
Guardiola was asked why he chose Manchester City, when a lot of other clubs were also interested in him. He said: "I have already told you why I am going to England. You've got to trust me . I can't come here every day and talk about it."
He was then asked if it was going to make it more difficult now to focus for the next 6-8 weeks. To which he replied: "Why would it be?"
