As opposed to the other thread, I think he's our only hope for the season not ending with death by a thousand cuts and the players coasting to the Euro's and other tournys, awaiting Pep.

He demands commitment of those around him and a fit skipper for the rest of the season would fill me with some hope at least. We haven't played with any real authority since his injuries.

I think it was more that the club thought he wasn't over his previous injury. Vinny and Belgium thought otherwise. The rest is history...

Yeah it's a weird one. Last couple of weeks he's been in training but today there was no pics except for him with the team all together outside but had trainers on I think
