It seems that our stars are getting special treatment from the opposition. Yesterday, Morgan kicked the shit out of Kun and only after the 3rd or 4th dose was he booked.

Ditto Simpson on Sterlling.

Is it part of the game plan for one of the oposition to take one for the team by trying to take out the dangermen.

Seem to happen to us a lot - Kun after he scored in midweek - yet he got booked when the defender kicked the sole of his boot.

Seems we need to leave the boot in ocassionaly on the opposition danger men, starting with Kane.

Spelt Sterling wrong and didn't mean to say shit - apologies

Perhaps some of our players have been sussed for being the lightweights that they are. Not Sergio, but most of the others are gutless.

So, take one for the team? Bollocks. Most of our players stay on their feet.

Not sure what you mean. If someone kicks me, I kick back twice as hard and twice as long. If someone kicks one of our players, they either disappear or just take it without giving back. Hence the opposition just kick shit out of them, ably backed by benign officials.

Maybe I wasn't clear, but what I meant was in my observation, our players don't generally back away, so not lightweights. We can't control the other team, but we stand our ground imho.

If referees did they job it wouldn't be a problem it's actually the referees who are doing the hatchet job

I'd love to know where the OP has been for the last 5 seasons? Our players get clogged on a regular basis? Really? No shit.

Without doubt our players are targeted. The opposition know where refs are at with us so they have Carte blanche at hurting us. They also know any form, even the slightest amount of retaliation and our player is off. We are better than them and it's only thing they can resort to. Ronaldo had it at the rags but of course fergie would see to it the ref took action. We don't do that.

The referee yesterday was abysmal and I agree completely this what you say but I lay the blame squarely at the Captain door for this defeat.
he pulled out of a 50/50 in the first minute which lead to change in possession and their goal a minute later.

YaYa should never have the armband again, the captain is the leader and should set the example to team mates.
I don't want our players to kick the opposition just be committed to the cause.

Having said all that Taylor yesterday was a disgrace and this seems to happen week in week out to our players.
Yesterday stamps on Agueros feet and numerous tackles from behind, Sterling and Silva got similar treatment.

I can barely think of a strong tackle that City made; probably Otamendi but that would have led to him being grounded, someone needs to tell him to stay on his feet. Leicester were a bigger more powerful team and out muscled us all over the pitch, Demichellis vs Huth was a complete mismatch and Silva seemed to get pushed off the ball far too easily. We need some steel in this team, the players need to be physicaly and mentally stronger, at the moment the fans are left questioning if they really care!

To concede again so early was criminal and played right into their hands and I was never expecting any favours for the referee.

As I was leaving the game a blue was applauding Leicester and I said they were dirty bastards, he said no they were just stronger. I said they kicked Sergio all over and ref did nothing as per. Apparently Sergio isn't strong enough ( his words not mine) , we all have opinions but fuck me, told him he was a prick.
We ned to get behind the team on Sundays and hope we defend better.

Met my mate after the game (Chelsea fan) who only saw the first half and totally disagreed that we were getting a kicking. Now either we've got blue tinted glasses on or TV misses it as he calls stuff pretty fairly.

We give as good as we get, the problem is when we do we're penalised for it at the oppo aren't. This was particularly evident in the first half yesterday when every 50/50 went their way.

When Morgan, and the other Leicester player were booked the ref pointed at 4 places on the pitch to indicate the fouls he was booking him for, some imho were deserving of cards on their own. When he booked Zabba he pointed at 2 places, one was not even a foul. So it is official now 4 fouls on City = booking 2 fouls by City = booking.

Leicester like others have systematically fouled City players, especially Kun and got away with it all season

There was a bad foul by Morgan early on but Taylor played advantage. The advantage went on a while before play stopped and everyone expected a yellow card. Yet he only spoke to him. Had he booked him then, he wouldn't have been able to carry on to the same extent.

But this has been going on for years. Remember the derby a good few seasons ago when the rag players took turns in kicking SWP until they got booked, then another one took over.

Had the red sent Morgan off as well as possibly Simpson (multiple yellow offenses) , given us the penalty (which in fAirness was very tight, not helped by zabas jump) and correctly awarded a gk, then the result would look different.

The above does affect he result, but we also didn't play well, and despite this, had we taken our chances we would've ended up 3-3 (nando on the line and aguero taking a touch too many to round The keeper ). We didn't have any luck that they have had all season.

If he had booked him for that challenge like it deserved he probably would have got a warning for the challenge he was booked for
But that's deflecting from a poor team performance

the last two games we have been very poor but we have had the shit kicked out of us with little if no protection from the referees. 2 elbows in our defenders faces by defoe were glossed over by that scouse shit murphy on motd saying it was ok because he was little. when we went 3 1 up against everton and brought our last sub on it became a tactic to try and seriously hurt our players and reduce us to 10 men. this worked when kevin was hurt. Leicster were constantly leaving boots in and tackling from behind which is supposed to be an automatic yellow card. I believe it is drilled into us not to retaliate remember when nasri clattered neymar against Barcelona he was subbed and hardly played again for a couple of months.

Add suspensions to our injuries, don't think that will help.
