Hatchet Job

Add suspensions to our injuries, don't think that will help.

Not so sure. The ref made it clear yesterday that he was prepared to tolerate some pretty hefty tackling. With a wet, slick, greasy surface it should have made some of our players' eyes light-up. I can't remember us doing anything to suggest we were up for the fight. Again.

Its annoying that I had not realized that they where rather dirty or at least naughty. All we here from the media is how great they are makes me almost feel sorry for the rep stoke had and wonder if they ref was in agreement with the media

I just think we're forgetting what it's like to watch an aggressive, committed team. We used to be so fucking aggressive 3 or 4 years ago. It was amazing. We didn't complain then. Our team is just soft as fuck.

Our team is soft. what I would give for a De Jong or even a Bellamy who mixed it up verbally if not physically.

Once that Morgan racked Sergio early on and no one said or did anything it was apparent they could do what they liked

Our biggest problem is we need a Nigel De Jong style player, someone who will get stuck in. We have far too many powder puff players, you see the opposition waltz through our midfield and also the defence is no better (except Vinnie and Zabba), we need someone who will launch an opposing player into the crowd with a crunching tackle, it lifts the entire stadium.

It's called football.

We're as soft as arsenal these days. Tough guy otamendi getting bullied by Defoe ffs.

we didn't play well but Taylor is a cheat and a rag. he should nowhere near our games.

Yep he is and as referee it's easy to cheat and stick it to one team like fouls blow for all the opposition fouls none foils but we get kicked of the park and he waves play on bet he was pissing himself after game

If we can't kick them back than at least do what Barca does best. Also it would help a lot if our manager put some pressure on the refs. SOmething needs to be done.

The champions leagues ref's have seen to that, do you not remember the games against Barcelona and how we only had to breathe on them to heavy and it was a foul, when they wouldn't have been in the prem, it seems the players can't switch between the two differing comps.

Often our own worse enemy......seek every advantage, dont stay on your feet because of some misguided honesty.....the refs don't respect it and we end up losing out,'play' the game!

We are far too nice at times and as a result get fuck all from the referees.

Kun, Sterling and Silva should all be encourage to stay down and roll around when they have been cynically hacked down. The likes of Yaya and Kolarov should also be encouraged to run over and kick up a fuss.

It's time to start forcing the refs into take action like other clubs do.

We get no more rough treatment than other teams and we can give it out just as much too (look at how many stupid fouls we give away) Leicester were not dirty yesterday, they put in a few strong challenges and a few kicks but nothing vicious and it stopped when they were carded. Fernandinho does that nearly every single game for us. Take the blue tinted specs off people. Tricky skillfull players are always going to get a few kicks, whether accidentally or intentionally. it's called football

It's not any worse than what happens to other players in the league we just notice it more because it's our players.

Did anyone see Huths deliberate Elbow in midweek game against Liverpool, very surprised it was not picked up on, being honest if that had been Costa doing it the media would have been all over it like a rash..

Sunderland booted our players off the park and Leicester in the 1st half certainly put themselves about, that said we can be soft as shite and easily bullied off the ball..

Not sure what you mean. If someone kicks me, I kick back twice as hard and twice as long. If someone kicks one of our players, they either disappear or just take it without giving back. Hence the opposition just kick shit out of them, ably backed by benign officials.

This was the general notion in 323. They will continue to kick the shit out of our players until the ref produces a card, and then someone else will take up the cudgels. There are teams and playes who know full well how many hatchets they can bury in an oppo's back. For Zab it's generally two, for Morgan yesterday it was four! Another aspect of cheating referees!

Met my mate after the game (Chelsea fan) who only saw the first half and totally disagreed that we were getting a kicking. Now either we've got blue tinted glasses on or TV misses it as he calls stuff pretty fairly.
Aguero was getting hammered early on, and Aguero is a very fair player. he goes in very hard for 50-50s sometimes a bit recklessly imo, but he's not a diver

When Arsneal beat us a few years ago. I think it was 3-0. They were much better than us but they also took home 4 or five yellow cards. Each time we managed to break away they hauled us down and took a card. Should we do this a bit more or rely on our skill.

Remember on Boxing day against Sunderland? Sterling brought down in the box early on and promptly booked for diving, when it was a clear penalty.

Guess who the ref was that day? None other than a certain Mr Taylor!

You know damn well you'll get nowt out of him in any game he is our ref. Bent the lot of them.
