City over the years have a tendency to surprise at the very point when all hope seems to have gone, so Just when you think we can't...

Win a game (any game)
Put some form together
Keep some clean sheets
Score some goals
Win the league cup
Progress in the fa cup/champs league
Win the league

Maybe we can

Any thoughts?

Beat spurs - Arsenal beat Leicester

Arsenal then play United away.

As good as Leicester have been they're more than capable of dropping silly points to teams like West brom and Sunderland due to the way they play.

Either way I think this weekend will be make or break for our premier league campaign for this season

the last 8-10 game are the key (obviously I know) this is when teams get to the final leg of the title race and either crumble or carry on and win it. liverpool the other year and arsenal regulary, it's wherher leicester and spurs do that will determin the league. Think we are on for the league cup at least this year

This.

Apart from last sentence...seem to remember we won it with less games and a larger points deficit to the leader not so long ago

This week there has been aa lot of doom and gloom. The way we crumbled v Leicester at times was quite alarming and it has us doubting.

I think we won't win the league due to injuries, form, will and tactics.

We are or have been poor for quite a while

It certainly would be "typical city" for us to beat Spurs, but I'm really struggling to see it. We look devoid of confident, and with the current injury crisis, we're lacking quality too.

Looking at the fixtures Leicester should walk the league now can see us losing 3 maybe 4 games can't see Leicester losing 6 we will probably have to win 11 of our last 13 games and since we can't string 2mwins together it's impossible!

It would appear then, that we are still the only club in 4 competitions, but our season is in effect, over. Get some youngsters in now and give the team some dare I say.....pep.

Please don't.
We are supposed to flap and foresee the doom and gloom that looms beyond the blue sky.
Nothing's gonna change my world.

Who knows but Sunday is a must win game. We lose, we're out of it if you ask me, regardless what the other results are.

If we do lose it the kick in the guts would seriously rock us and make us outsiders by a way for the title.
We are capable of destroying anyone though, like usual it depends which City turns up.

One match at a time is the only way to take it with us atm, imo we will win 2-0.

The points deficit isn't the problem it's the horrendous form over the entire season, the turning into flat track bullies that look so utterly inept against half decent opposition and no signs of it changing anytime soon and a manager that hasn't got a cluethat have people feeling rather negatively about the rest of the season.

The next fortnight will define the season. Lose on Sunday and we can pretty much forget about the league, the champs league isn't that important of a match as we should be going through over 2 legs and we're likely to go out next round anyway, and then we've got both cups that could be over.

We are at a tipping point. Win on Sunday and we repair some damage from last weekend and we are right back in it. Lose and not only is the title race over, but I would seriously fear for our top 4 spot, which would be an unmitigated disaster if we dropped out of it, particularly with Pep on the way. At the moment, with this clueless, insipid, unimaginative Chilean at the helm, I fear the worst.

We've been consistently shit for a while now on the whole. Just when we looked like we were about to come good we've totally relapsed and picked up some more injuries whilst at it. You never know but at this point it isn't looking promising
