Seeing how this season is in danger of petering out in a depressing fashion thought it might be fun to speculate on Manuel's next club.

He wants to stay here apparently so although Valencia might be available I'll go with

Everton.

God help them whoever it is

Just glad he won't be our manager

For what it's worth I don't think it will be an English club

Said a while ago it would be to a team not in the CL.

I stick by that.

whoever wants to see a dull team that lives off a myth of playing attractive football with no instructions or gameplan.

If he stays in the premier league i don't think he'll make it to the 2 year mark. He's been found out big time, he won't have the luxury of surprising teams like he did in his first year here and he won't have the luxury of having by far and away the best squad in the league. If it's Chelsea he'll be sacked by around Christmas.

Possibly Tottenham if Pochettino is poached by one of the giants.

Everton would be a great move for him if they lost patience with Martinez; I think that kind of the club might give him the best opportunity to replicate his Malaga and Vilarreal achievements. He could basically do a similar type of job to what Moyes did, but obviously with better football.

He's not a bad manager, he's far from a bad manager. What he's done elsewhere is a clear indication of that. I can see him being very successful in his next job.
