I do feel for Caballero to an extent, as coming in just for one game and then dropping out again for a while must be tough. Impossible for him to develop any kind of rhythm. Definitely feel he's better than what we've seen of him.

Seriously doubt though he'll go against his policy of playing him in the League Cup. He stuck with Demichelis during 13/14 even when he was playing poorly (and was eventually rewarded), he continues to pick Yaya despite his struggles and I imagine he'll do the same here.

At least we can have some confidence if it goes to penalties!

Mancini picked the best goalkeeper we had. His responsibility was to the club, the fans, the rest of the players not Costel Pantmillion and therefore he was quite correct in picking the strongest team available.

I can only blame him for the organisation of the defensive wall which was a shambles. I don't think the other goals were down to him. Indeed he made two great saves. The Cahill goal, the one that was at him was very difficult to save because it was low down. Only chance was to get a leg to it

He was at fault for at least 3 goals. He made one decent save and stopped a lame pen. Apart from that it was one of the worst keeping displays I can remember.
