12.30 for me. Traffic was heavy all the way but thankfully no accidents. I noticed the sign saying m60 shut. Did that affect anyone?

What did people do about those early trains they had booked back? I noticed a fair few of our fans left before the presentation.

What was the east side drinking like? We stayed on Euston Road in o'Neills and made the way to the ground from Kings cross. Mix of fans and decent banter in there.

For once I didn't see any trouble at all even between blues although I'm sure there may have been in other parts. We were in 508 and had a good view from row 9.

Knackered today though and "working from home this morning"

It's a shattered but with a big smile on the face! Brought back memories of weaver running around the pitch!
It's incredible how much a day like that takes out of you.

Funnily enough, at the end of extra time I was racking my brains to try and remember any previous occasions when we'd had penalties in a big match and could not think of any!

I like you.

I would say Midgetland was the last big penners win, now they have been anointed a big club.

My partner's daughter-in-law (a red who actually works in the Liverpool shop in Chester but is her side of the family not mine (mine are even worse being nearly all rags - the shame!!)) stayed right to the end, including the presentations (fair do's to her!) but consequently didn't get back to Chester 'til 3am!!!

She did say however that they were stuck in the coach car park for just under 3 hours as there had apparently been a crash.

It's your age - hope you've booked the day off.

Got in just before midnight and in time to watch the highlights. Superb day. Great humour on the train, a couple of scouse fans taking it in good spirit. The match going scousers were a decent bunch as opposed to the Keyboard and crawling out of the woodwork scouse.

11-45 (missing my pint)thanks to Pellers, could have got home a hour earlier if he'd have replaced Sterling with Navas at 60/70 mins and stuck Iheanacho on too ! Perhaps sooner but with M60 shut, had to go via the Mancunian Way.

Just after 1:00am and simply not functioning properly today, seriously need to go back to bed

Haha! Good shout :-)

Great day, yesterday fellah.

I like you too.

Brilliant day mate, thanks again for sorting the tickets. You are right about what it takes out of you, when I got home, everything started to ache and I was so tired once the adrenaline all ran out.

I'd echo what was said about the Liverpool fans, on the whole they took it all very well, also we had a laugh and a good chat with a few of them on our train, complete contrast to the rag scum. Just shows how RAWK isnt a fair reflection of them en masse, however the caff is a good representation of the softarse shithouses.

got home at ten to two, nearly 5 hours on the coach back to leeds, roadworks closing the M1 didn't help! hope all those going back to Harrogatem Boroughbridge and Thirsk got back OK!

was up and in work before 9 this morning...not that i'm really capable of doing much work, just reading match reports from yesterday!

Back in the house by 1230 after a well organised queue to Wembley Park tube entertained by a whole of songs from the fans. Even Adam Johnson got a dishonourable mention.

Good getaway from Wealdstone FC but too much off a fight to get served before the match.

Slept well of course

PS and we were shown on Sky during the pens!
