Is it just me or do the kids coming through all seem to have an element of humility which is reflected in their performances ?

Anyway Garcia I thought was great against last night. So happy to see him get on the pitch. Hopefully next season he'll be playing for us regularly.

I think we are extremely close to seeing the first batch of academy graduates play a role in our squad.

I also think our transfer windows are now only going to see us buy players who can improve us as a team rather than adding depth.

Kelechi has shown that he is more effective than Bony and the likes of Denayer, Manu Garcia and Angelinho could all feature and add depth to our squad.

I'm not going to go overboard and say that I expect these guys to be world class overnight. However, Kelechi has shown that he is a very useful squad member at this moment and he will only improve with experience. If the other lads can make a similar step up then the future is even brighter than I thought.

Let these youngsters compliment the more established members of the squad and then it's up to them to show the boss why they should be starting.

If we are to add Pogba and Gundogan to this side (they have both been heavily linked with us) and integrate these youngsters then we will have a very young squad.

was sat with the eds boss simon davies yesterday, rates manu obviously but pointed out to me that he needs to toughen up a bit, there was a 60/40 challenge in his favour but lost the ball, class act though

I think to talk about Garcia being great v Villa in the 15 minutes he was on is a bit OTT. It was Villa, they were 4 nil down and had effectively stopped trying so there was space in the middle of the park and little in the way of serious challenging. That doesn't mean he didnt look the part as he did and slotted in effortlessly but really apart from making simple passes and being available he didn't do anything. Once the penalty had been missed and Yaya went off we actually didn't look like scoring.

For the record i think Garcia is a top class talent with massive potential but I just don't think we should be using the word great when it's not warranted.

Think he has very little chance of making it at City in all honesty. Neat and tidy in a game against Villa and technically very good. Zero pace or strength though so could never make an efficient winger or central midfielder in the Premier. So he'd have to play behind the striker and for where we want to be we need players of world class talent there and he's not that unfortunately. Sure he'll have a decent career somewhere though.

I will.

You keep frothing at the mouth and telling yourself you have called it right all along because that's worked out for you these last 5 seasons hasn't it?
Funny that. The only thing I and many others have called from day one was Manuel's reckless abandonment of our defensive solidity and his obsession with all out attack. We all questioned how long it would last before other teams figured us out and to our teams detriment unfortunately this turned out to be the case sooner rather than later. This is the Premier League and you take other teams as mugs at your own peril as the fact we haven't beaten a top team all season has proved.

So the only deluded flip flopping know nowt around here is you. Pellegrini in, great guy Pellgrini his all out attacking 442 will just take a bit of time to get used to, Pellegrini out, support Pellegrini, Pep in, great job Pellegrini, fuck Pellegrini again, to can't wait for next season and Pep.

You need to engage whatever passes for your brain before you continue to spout utter irrelevant crap on the internet fella. If as someone alluded to your posts are some kind of audition for you to become a Mod on here, I can safely predict we'll all be spared your Inspector Blakey style officialdom.

As for Manu Garcia, he's our future and deserved more game time than he's been afforded so far this season. Hopefully this will be addressed in the coming seasons.

Mate, neither Xavi or Iniesta are blessed with great pace, but what they lack in pace they make up for with their football brain. Micah Richards is blessed with pace, but proved yesterday that if you don't have the organisational skills to go with it, pace counts for very little.

Manu is still a very young man and given time and guidance, I think he'll succeed here. We spent £44m on Sterling and literally nothing on Manu. A players price tag should only be used as a guide to how much a team were willing to pay for his services, not how good he is or potentially will be.

Well done, I didn't think it would happen but you've just hit a new low for Bluemoon

The lad has only just turned 18, made his first ever start two weeks ago and has thirty minutes top flight football to his name with an assist and a goal and you've already wriiten him off, well done you.

I despise the likes of you.

Thought he looked very good wudnt mind seeing him and silva v Norwich

I didn't realise until I watched the highlights that the first two goals were both down to Richards.

Yaya's shot was going in the other direction until Richards deflected it, then he was the one who in attempting a clearance hit the ball against Aguero and it richoched into the net.

That can happen to anyone, it just unfortunate for Micah that it happened to him twice on his first return to the Etihad.

In comparison, when I first saw Garcia playing in our pre-season Oz tournament, I honestly thought it was Silva playing for the first 20 minutes. From that moment on I could see he was a very special player and in the absence of Nasri and now KDB, I can't believe how little game time he's been given this season.

Did most things well. Looked neat and tidy and his passing was crisp. Was never really under much pressure from the villa team and can only read a very small amount into yesterday at this stage, but great to see him getting a bit if experience under his belt

Jesus it was villa Aston villa, see what he's like against the likes of Spurs arsenal liverpool and the shit.
