Manu Garcia is an exciting player to watch and could go on to become the best midfielder we've had through our academy for quite some time.

So it's only natural that this thread is already did descending into a Pellegrini one.

He is a player that makes it look ridiculously easy, even now at his age and like Kelechi, he looks full of confidence and self belief that he actually belongs out there.

Him and a couple of others are the reasons why I think we'll see a few more outgoings than incomings this summer.

The thing about the first half against Chelsea was that that was the first time I've seen us press as a team since before Christmas. The rags are the same, their most impressive players are the teenagers coming through. Not that I think many of theirs will turn into world beaters but they've got the hunger.

I wish he could have played more games but - as it seems to always be at our club - the manager is stuck in a predicament; if he doesn't play youth, people like me will say he needs to bring them in to inject some desire and, if we play youth and lose, there will be people saying he's hung the lad's out to dry.

He looked great for those limited mins yesterday, but after 30mins against Chelsea looked really tired, he needs to game time for fitness. I'm sure he will get it because he deserves it. He is an emerging talent for sure

nice easy game to dip your toe into premiership waters, looks calm and assured on the ball, promising

Very impressed with Manu yesterday.

OK, so he came on against an already beaten Villa side, but hew as looking for the ball and he made good use of it.

He looks to have a very bright future and I would be tempted to play him against Kiev to ensure Spanish Dave is not injury before we play scum.

Its as much about your movement off the ball as it is what you do on it and the lad was never stood still, never going the opposite direction to hide, he was straight into space, looking for the pass.

Be funny as fuck when Pep wins the Premierleague with 6/7 academy players, whilst the red shite are still spending £40m on the latest uncut diamond!
The future is blue 100%
