Wilfried Bony 2015/2016 Performances

Either on his Arse or flat on his back. I wish Manuel would make him earn his place in the team

Jovetic is twice the player Bony will ever be, his movement, positional awareness, willingness to look for the ball and never hide are all his main traits.

Strangely enough they're all the things Pep looks for which Bony doesn't possess
 
It's his lethargic work rate that disappoints me the most. He may not have Sergio's ability but there is nothing stopping him working as hard.

Bearing in mind bony is a long way behind jovetics class and still worse than Edin aswel.
 
Am sure I read somewhere that Bony was genuinely a Pellegrini signing as opposed to the Spanish duo. Maybe that's why he gets picked ahead of kelechi.

Even the striker up against Chelsea in cup looked more of a threat.
 
He's a target man. He'll do well in a team that plays that way.

He'll never fit in with the way we play.

Totally agree , sadly Pellegrinis atrocious man management of excluding him from the CL squad put paid to his future at City.
 
Am i the nly one who would take jovetic back f inter wann back out. I always rated him very highly. Dont get wh people called him a bottler, cant remember a game where he didnt show class

Agreed about Jovetic I always thought he was classy. Is he a Pep player?

As for Bony, I was glad when we signed him, thought he was good - he scored one of the best goals against us just before he joined. Sadly I have been very disappointed with him, he has just not produced in any form, not as a striker, as a link up player, his best attribute is as a hold up player,but even that's not that good IMO.
 
A fit jovetic with a run of starts and games is a top class player! Manuel in a certain way fucked that up as well
 
This guy isn't good enough, but neither is Jovetic. All flash in the pan, little substance a lot of the time when he played. Neither are good enough for where we want to be.

x2 both Bony and Jovetic are nowhere near our level, well maybe this season. Edin was frustrating as f@ck but weighed in with important goals.

Jovetic's lack of games was entirely owing to the fact he IS & WAS always injured. Every manager he has played under has had to play more games without him than with him. He'd be out injured for weeks. It would then require several games to get match fit during which time he'd get another injury. Unfortunately, he's just one of those sick note players. Shame
