He deserves a song
(to the above)
Kelechi Iheanacho
Is amazing at football
Der Der Der Der Der Der Der Der
Perhaps on Wednesday, but if he starts Wednesday, he absolutely shouldn't on Saturday.. That will be poor management of his minutes.
There is no reason to overexpose him now. If we were down our Senior strikers, sure. But otherwise, groom progressively. While I believe he can handle it, there is no reason to force the issue.
So no other explanation other than he is down the pecking order?Yeah he wasn't injured
Yep. Another master stroke from the Clueless One. When Iheanacho plays, he contributes, so let's not play him anymore now that useless lump Bony is fit.So no other explanation other than he is down the pecking order?
Laughable isn't it. I think he is genuinely senile. So no other explanation other than he is down the pecking order?
Wait a minute guys, it's obvious that he's just being 'managed properly' is it not?
I mean he got about 20 minutes at Carrow Road only 3 days prior, we wouldn't want to tire him out eh?
Unbelievable. He might be young but he's genuinely already a much better asset to us than Bony and fits much better into our system. Whenever he plays, he contributes.
I know I shouldn't be surprised with MP doing his usual shite but I was sort of hoping Kelechi would START yesterday with Aguero on the bench if required, never mind be left out of the entire squad purely based on his age.
There's two ways of looking at it, either Pellegrini prefers his senior pro's and regardless of the situation they will automatically be above youth - which to me is bizarre. Either that or he just thinks Bony has been performing better than Kelechi and was more likely to do us a good turn off the bench should he be required - and if that's the conclusion he's summed up from this seasons performances from each of them then it explains why we're underperforming so much. Either way, he's got it wrong.

Tbh, although I can't be doing with Pellegrini at all when it comes to young players, I can see the sense in keeping Nacho & Sterling out of the game last night, IF it's because he wants both of them available at 100% for Sunday, be that off the bench or starting. Both kids would tend to leg it around a lot in a game like last night & maybe not be quite as fresh at the weekend.
What I can't then understand is why Aguero wasn't on the bench & Wilf told to do at least 45 mins, as we didn't actually need to score. And quite a few of his other selections for similar reasons.
We'll see at weekend I suppose.

Ridiculous that he wasn't involved last night
Why is Bony ahead of him, especially for a game which would have been very valuable to him for his development
Pellegrini is not thinking of the future of City. We see that with Toure and young players. The team is stagnating as a result
