Teachers of Bluemoon

Thanks for clearing that up.
You are completely out of sync with all expert opinion. The northern powerhouse is closing offices.
His view on austerity has been ridiculed countless times and he has a 50/50 chance at best. His best is nowhere near good enough.

The northern powerhouse has 7 cranes up in the city centre as we speak providing much needed training and jobs. He will achieve it if the wider economy remains on course. Even if he doesn't he won't be far off.

There are 2 ifs already in that.
Manchester is not the northern powerhouse, ask Sheffield, Leeds, Liverpool, Sunderland, Scunthorpe etc etc what they think.

Well the Liverpool stand representatives at Mipim thought it was marvellous.

And didn't you post earlier no one would know what the defecit would be under labour? Not even an if - a not a fucking clue?

You just like to criticise the nasty rich Tories robbing off the poor. It's complete bollox.

You have to wonder why there is a teacher shortage if the gig is so great? Presumably that shortage will soon be fixed though by the planned introduction of longer hours without any increase in pay.

Liverpool getting plenty of investment. New China town coming soon. Some council bods have flown over to Cannes to try and secure some foreign funding to top up the stuff from the Gov.

They have no idea of the investment coming into the northern cities, just like to criticise. I am looking at Leeds as we speak.

What is it with people hating on public sector workers? try doing a month in their shoes and since when was it teachers fault the school closes early?

I've worked in the public sector - it was a fucking doddle.

Now now Karen!

I would ask where was the sympathy for the private sector between 2006 and 2011.

Quite. During that period, none of us got any sort of pay rise (in fact, 25% pay cuts were not uncommon), businesses were going bust and people were being made redundant left right and centre while the public sector workers were shielded from it all. Then we gave Labour the elbow and public sector pay rises were brought in line with ours (zilch!), and the poor darlings started kicking off.

Only a 25 minute train to Manchester. That said, the Dippers have a lot of good things over here. Give it a few years and we'll see where it is.

Weird that people say things but don't look at it!

Fucking hell - the most common sense post made on here in years. Whilst I was fighting to keep lads employed in 2009 and often not paying mortgages etc, Mr ww in her public sector piss take job phoning in sick twice a week and generally doing fuck all. I remember her telling me about the amount of people off with frozen fucking shoulders and hormone replacement issues and other such bollox. It was like dads army.

90 percent of public sector workers could either not get a job in the real world or have left it for a cushy life. This is fact.

Bloody hell I have never had so much support at one time. Only need Urmston and we can have a right wing party!

Made up, again.

If you advocate the immediate reinstatement of student teachers, in mini skirts, to supplement these recalcitrant layabouts,
I'm with you.

Made up, again.

No that's you.

Did the private sector not suffer hugely from 2007 to 2011? While the public sector largely carried on regardless? Can the country afford a dispraportionately costly public sector?

You don't really come up with much ken do you?
