Dimitri Seluk (Yaya's agent)

Isn't it his birthday next month? Turns 33.

At least if we all know where we stand, we can acknowledge his incredible role in our history and wave a new club legend down that tunnel for one final time?

He deserves no less, same goes for any of the lads from the early takeover days.
If he definitely leaves we can save the cake this time around.

Couldn't give two fucks. His agent is a bellend and yayas an idiot for paying the prick. Thanks for the memories

Seems a shame as I am struggling to think of a player more suited to the mould of holding pivote Pep likes to employ. His passing is second to none and would be ideal if Pep follows the system incorporating an Alonso type midfielder deep.

Whether the rift between him and Pep is too deep, Yaya does not fancy that role or Pep has already got someone else lined up (Gundogan) only time will tell.

indifferent either way, if he stays Pep won't be afraid to use him sparingly as Pellegrini should of this season and he'll still have something to offer thee side. If he goes there's no better time move on from Yaya being the central figure in our side. If he does leave though, there's no way we will get a fee for him. He's 33 on a huge contract, he will be released or we'll get a couple of million tops.

Am I the only one a little disappointed that Sky have just showed some of Yaya's best moments and failed to show any of those glorious goal-scoring lung-bursting surges from deep positions that used to excite the crowd?

(apologies : sounds a bit sexual)

Or the semi or final goals in the Facup

Been a tremendous signing for us but we're ready to move on now. Could still do a bit of a job, but the way we insist on using him unbalances the team so im happy to say goodbye.

Not sure what those hoping for a decent fee are expecting though. Getting an increasingly ineffective player on sky high wages off our books a season early is probably decent enough. How much do people think a 33 year old Yaya Toure next season is actually worth to us? Even these Chinese clubs won't pay loads as the price is partly dictated by how much the selling clubs wants to hold onto a player. Any big lumps sums that come into the reckoning will be most likely Yaya's signing on fee. That said, we've had more than our money's worth out of him. £24m fee and 6 seasons out of him? Great business irrespective of whether we get a fee for him or not.

Been a great player for us but as with Silva time is up.
What exactly is your point?

Wait until he has left my club. The utterances that will follow from him and his agent are my point.
Also he is under contract to my club. How dare he say he will definitely leave. Not for him or his agent to say that.
Or am I missing an important part of contract law and holding the registration of a player.

I don't think he'd have any problem playing in a balanced side with a system which gave him less running to do & more cover.

It's just whether he would expect to play every week.

Won't be surprised if hes been ahem "rested" and is available Wednesday and performs when it matters most. I think we all agree he's past his best but some of the animosity (i'm not arsed about what his agent says or does) on here towards him is ridiculous. So many times hes dragged us over the line when we've been stuttering to make it. Big game player for big games, lets hope if he's off he can leave with one last hurrah. I will miss him for sure but I think the time may be right but they will be big boots to fill and can only think of 2 players who would fill them. Fingers crossed I'm hoping we will sign one of them in the summer.
