Get to the Etihad for the 2nd leg!

Two tickets in South Stand snapped up. Come on City!!!!!!

Nick the WBA game, get the players through unfazed and this is on for next week, let's send the French packing.

Of course they have. But they haven't done it out of the goodness of their hearts or because they felt sorry for us. They've done it to promote the image of Abu Dhabi and to make a return on their investment. As much as they may have "given" us, they've taken other things away.

Yes but we aren't a charity case, no one would expect limitless investment out of the goodness of their heart, and while there have been pros and cons to the ownership the pros hugely outweigh the cons. I mean they are the best owners probably in our history (so far)

Time to put aside our beef with the club over ticketing and really make Etihad a Fortress when PSG come to town. Really get in the French pansy's faces and make it hell for them !

This is the biggest game we will have in years.
At last, someone talking sense instead of Blue Moan Forum constant whingers about this, that and the other no matter what.

Not at all so why do you think they took us over?

For the reason PB states and I am eternally grateful. Why does it matter? I'm just glad it wasn't Newcastle instead.

People are entitled to their opinion but any complaints should be directed at modern football in general rather than our owners. Given the state of football these days and the money that is involved I wouldn't swap our owners for that of any other club.

So what was the alternative, go down the pan like Leeds have? I know which path I'd rather choose even if I don't agree with all the things 'they' have done or doing

Well, if you do manage to tear yourself away from the ticket price debate, by the way, only 3000 will pay £60..., they're going like hotcakes on the website, several hundred per minute, move yourselves...!
Absolutely, great result tonight so lets focus on WBA and then PSG next Tuesday. £40 tickets available for any Blues who want to go. Those who are happy to pay £60 have nearly snapped them all up.

Cos I'm deluded you said it yourself , well it least I'm a happy deluded fucker , rather than a miserable sod who would rather play a Burton Albion in the league cup(no disrespect to burton) .

Spot on. If they'd charged the same as Kiev we'd have a full stadium roaring the side on.

£20 - £40 isn't even cheap but we'd have 55,000 blues willing us into the semis.

As it is we'll probably have 10,000 less than that and half of them will be half and half scarf wearing tourists more interested in taking photos than supporting the lads. Shame.

Like we didn't against Everton? £71 at Paris tonight in the premier European competition. We have to get behind the boys

The vast majority of fans knew from day one why they bought the club, no secret there.
As for taking other things away, there is only so far they can go before fans resist. I'm guessing they are aware of that, or should be.

I don't really get how people can have an issue with the champions league and not also have the exact same issues with the premier league. Both created disparity, both were set up by clubs with self interest at heart and both have exploited television as much as they can to ensure people have to pay to watch it.

It seems odd to me to just hold a negative thought against that competition and not the league.

One thing I would say is if people are only interested in the league, then it is doing well in the champions league that will allow us to attract the players to ensure we also stay at the top in the league too. Some fans might not like the competition, it's the one that the top players want to play in though.

Believe me that was the stark alternative and not many know that more than I do. So I'm happy with the takeover and our ownership, certainly compared to the alternative. It's been a brilliant lesson in brand building and I'd rather go to Wembley for an FA or League Cup final than a League One third-place play-off.

So you would rather have us owned by JD Sports and playing in whatever Division 2 is now called.
I posted earlier you sounded like Colin Schindler. I think you sound more like David Conn

Do you know. I felt nothing at the final whistle. I really couldn't give a shit about the CL, even though it's clearly important to the owners.
It`s important to me and any game that City play is. If that`s how you feel, well that`s how you feel. Unfortunately I could not go to Paris tonight but was at Sevilla and it was absolutely brilliant. Everyone watching it our full front room here tonight felt that it was a great result and tomorrow we will not have a media backlash but a begrudging respect for our Club. Felt nothing? Each to their own I suppose.

And, unfortunately, it was ever thus
