Yes mate that's the easiest way to update it, 0.2.1 is the latest version anyway so no need to go through updating mate :)

Yes mate, you need a micro USB to hdmi lead, fairly cheap to get hold of, here you go: Amazon product ASIN
What android phone do you have as a matter of interest mate, I'm not sure it works on all of them :)
