Well done boss

Wins, losses, draws and %, both Bob and Pellegrini are remarkably similar when you look at them.

I never suggested it was. What I'm saying is that it should be taken into consideration when he's being judged and he should be afforded more respect than he gets from a significant number of Blues imo.
There's only pl title winning managers at the big clubs who this really can apply too. In three years time I think pep may surpass Taggert and Maureen, hopefully.

True, although I think you have to take in starting positions in the league when they joined.

Possibly but the point is, the constant comparison being made is a little silly when they have remarkably similar records.

One is a God and tactical, defensive genius despite losing 40 games with us and the other is treated with bile and vitriol and has lost less.

Truth is, both where not good enough and the club has moved on to Pep.

I know pellegrini gets grief and imo rightly so for the last two seasons of the PL. I've no idea how Mancini was treated on here by posters as I wasn't abt, was it any worse than our current gaffer gets?

Now why dont I believe you and why do I get the feeling you are now wumming?

Nowhere even close to the stick Pellegrini gets.

About 4 or 5 posters were vicious thats all, they are the ones now irrate at posters doing it to mp

Havnt we had this out before, abt ten times?
Anyway you mentioned pellegrini and mancini in the post I quoted, then went onto say the bile & vitriol aimed at pellegrini. I just asked if the previous manager got the same treatment, Rolee has answered with a no he didn't.

Here is the issue right now karen. Some didn't like Mancini and his football, i was one of them but never did it stoop to the level of bile and vitriol we are seeing on here regarding Pellegrini, never.

By all means not like the bloke and comment on his tactics or lack of them and state you cant wait for him to go, that's fair enough.

What isnt fair enough is the childish name calling and downright disrespectful and offensive way in which some feel the need to refer to our manager.

Nobody is trying to stifle feeling or debate, just the tone of the language being used.

Well put.

People quoting Pellegrini's win % completely miss the point about context, the poor little lambs.

Pellegrini has a better win percentage than Brian Clough did at Nottingham Forest. One took over a provincial club in the Second Division and won back to back European Cups with them.

The other took over the champions of England, the most expensively assembled squad ever in the top flight, spent a further £300m and took them from champions to scrapping for 4th in 2 seasons.

But Pellegrini's win percentage is better. Lol.

I quoted the percentage because I feel it deserves to be acknowledged in light of the slagging off he's getting from Blues.

It isn't to suggest he's some tactical mastermind or anything of the sort so there's no need for your patronising tone especially when you consider that it is you that has missed the point of why it was quoted in the first place.

Oh and btw Pellegrini didn't take over the champions of England, he took over a squad that had mounted a pathetic attempt at its title defence.
