Based on what ?, certainly not the teams picked and results either side of the PSG games. So far the squad has been managed very well the last 5 or 6 weeks.

based on the team i think he`ll pick. i dont trust him to pick a team that can win. i`ll let you know for sure when the team is announced

dont get me wrong i`ll be fucking over the moon if we win today.

the point i`m trying to make is they are both safe in the knowledge they will at least be in the competition next year we arent. one point splits the 3 at the top but they are 23 point from the 4th place club guaranteeing them both a place

Still not sure what point you're trying to make. No way will any of those teams will play a weakened side if they can win the league, no team would. CL qualification in the bag or not!

Have we sold out the away end today? Was quite suprised at followings at Chelsea and Newcastle recently to be honest.

Even if we lose today (I don't think we will) 2 wins will do it the rags won't get 12 points I think 8 at best so 3rd place for us unless spurs implode which I can't see them doing

Not so much Spurs imploding, but if we win today and Chelsea beat them we are 2 points behind and their last game away at Newcastle won't be easy if Newcastle can still stay up.

If we get 2nd place with our performances this season, then (no disrespect to the Foxes) that will highlight just how poor the EPL has been in terms of quality.

Is true and I think attendances are falling not just at city because it's not been a great season at all. Foxes West Ham and spuds have been good to watch the rest hit and miss

Very much so. We went six months playing either averagely or shit.

64 points after 35 games would have seen us 16-19 points behind second place in previous seasons.

How we've still got a chance of second this season after how poor we've been in the Prem is astonishing!

The league is not poorer. It is more competitive. Next season it will be more competitive still.
The gulf in class is narrowing. Leicester will win the league this year. Next year the top teams will react and spend big but the lower teams can also compete financially now.
In conclusion I've got no fecking idea who will win it next year, but I'm gonna put a cheeky fiver on Burnley to do it!!

Yeah look at teams like West Ham and Leicster, they have players like Mahrez and Payet who would get in to any English side. The teams are more balanced this season.

Five points now a win and two draws or two wins = fourth. If it is two wins and one of the wins is v Arsenal = 3rd.

We now do (just) have scope to lose today.

So the orders should be clear - GO FOR THE WIN. Do not faff about defending for a point.

I've had a premonition. We are going to finish second. Newcastle are staying up. And no champions league next year for the arse.
anyone know what odds I could get for that?
