It's probably about attracting the very top players, as according to all our fabulous journalists, absolutely no one will sign if you're not in the CL. I think Guardiola would be a huge factor with, or without CL football.

For me, I personally would rather win the league, but if we can't win the league, then the CL would be a nice trophy........not as nice as the Stanley Cup, but I can't see us competing for that anytime soon - but the owners may have their eye on a Canadian franchise!
