He's gotten away with it too many times down the years. There's a fine line between a poor performance and an unprofessional one and he's crossed it far too often for my liking.

Remember when he came on as sub in one game where we were playing like shit & was basically so unarsed & so bad some people were actually laughing at him ? I think it was a european game. It was shit but he managed a show stealing cameo at the end, just to prove it could get worse.

I have been expecting us to sell him for the last few years but he is still here. Presume Pep will see through him. Against Saints he was absolute rubbish and did not show any urgency to get back in defence...as usual. When Mane passed him he actually slowed down. I would rather play one of youngsters at left back if we need to rest Clichy. We need players who are prepared to run until they drop. Hopefully he won't play tomorrow.
