Aguero??

As Sergio has got another 3yrs on his contract, we don't have to sell him unless someone comes in with a stupid bid that we can't afford to turn down. Sergio still has a chance of the golden boot, so how can he be that bad. Yes he has not performed in Europe but how many of the players have shone out in the European games this season. not many. In how many games has Sergio had to lead the line without any help up front. Just go back to the 2nd leg against Real Madrid how often was Sergio left on his own up front all most every time the ball went forward he was out number 4/5 to 1.

Can't see him making a transfer request just because he will miss out on CL football for one season... not with Pep coming in.

Sergio's first half performance against Arsenal was absolutely magnificent....and the number of great dribbles he made leaving the Arsenal defenders for dead was brilliant to see. It's clear he needs more than Silva and KDB around him next season taking injuries into account because the likes of Bony, Navas and Sterling are simply not good enough when we come up against the really top teams.....maybe Sterling has the ability to step up next season.

He needs to play near the opposition net, playing wide, especially after all the injuries and lack of support he has been getting, doesn't help his game or the team

the best years for strikers are 27-30.

only stay fit,and he can deliver 40 goals per season.

There is no way Aguero will leave. Everyone is responsible for missing out on top 4. The only people who can't affect that outcome are the fans. The players know well they fucked up and would be raring to go next season. I see no one creating a fuss in the summer for CL.

Shit, have United won already?

Nah, I genuinely believe him when he said he won't leave before he wins CL with us and later that he will go to Argentina in 2-3 years. He was treated very well here, he's got contract and we wouldn't let him go anyway.

Still think he wasn't enjoying it on the pitch this year enough, wasn't working enough and I hope Pep will fix that next year. He was good in first half against Arsenal but it's still not the Kun we knew.

Selling Dzeko wasn't the mistake - the mistake was thinking Bony could replace him.
you are right bony certainly hasn't stepped up, he definitely isn't up to dzeckos standard...but in my opinion we should have kept hold of him , especially with agueros injury record

Has Aguero's overall game dropped due to lack of competition for his place, similar to Hart a few years ago?.

To be honest I think a few bad apples have spoiled the bunch this season.

Not making excuses for anyone but it's hard to remain motivated when others around you are putting in next to no effort. He's still scored over 20 league goals despite, as you said, his overall play not being up to previous years.

However, if anything, that's yet another reason to get giddy about next season.
