To be fair lads, the back pass did deflect off the Norwich player's boot, which can't be seen on that angle, but multiple other angles clearly show the deflection. I don't know what the rules say about a deflected back pass but it certainly doesn't seem that outrageous to let it go. At the time, on first viewing, I thought Coutois' brain had blanked out for a second, because he had real reason to pick it up as he was under no real pressure from a Norwich player. It turns out there was a deflection and Courtois could be seen walking up to the ref a few moments later and explaining something.

Could be Adidas pulling outand Chelsea paying back monies they received up front. Apart from the MLS, Adidas are reducing sponsorship in football.

Chelsea captain John Terry has been offered a new one-year contract by the Blues and is considering whether to accept it.

Terry, 35, is out of contract at the end of this season and in January said he would not be extending his stay.

Signing up JT again might keep the fans happy but it does not help them move on! They have a massive issue in sorting out who to move on and who to keep - on paper its a great team but the performances have been all over the place. I think they will be better next year but I can't see them bouncing back to win anything!
